The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is everything I hoped for and more. As a fan of Breath of the Wild, I was amazed at how this game expanded on an already incredible world while introducing fresh mechanics, deeper storytelling, and unparalleled creativity. The new sky islands and underground depths add an incredible sense of discovery, making Hyrule feel bigger than ever. The Ultrahand and Fuse abilities are absolute game-changers, allowing for limitless ways to solve puzzles, defeat enemies, and explore the world. The story is also more engaging, with emotional depth and surprises that kept me hooked from start to finish. Performance-wise, the game runs impressively well on the Switch, with stunning visuals and a beautiful soundtrack that perfectly complements the adventure. If you loved Breath of the Wild, this is a must-play. Even if you’re new to the series, this game sets the gold standard for open-world adventures. It’s easily one of the best games of all time. 10/10 – Highly recommended!

Beautiful this is the Pinnacle of gaming. Amazing combat, exciting gameplay, minimal story and plenty of time spent... exploring nature. The creator of Zelda started the series because he loved exploring caves. I find this game so breathtaking, I'll be so impressed climbing a mountain for it's natural beauty I will literally close my blinds...as I get irritated by real sunlight haha. This game has fun bosses, creative ways to play, and fun mechanics. Don't just go online and find the answers. No my friend in this game, the journey IS the destination. While the Nintendo Switch was released 7 years ago, this game squeezes every ounce of power out of this system and it runs smoothly. Interesting side quests, great conversations, lovely character design, delightful music. You will squeal with delight and fear at all the right times. Yes the Switch isn't as powerful as a PS5, that's fine. The graphics aren't cutting edge but this game dares you to dream and do whatever you please. To solve problems in a myriad of ways. To fight enemies or not, uniquely and to have fun doing it. Also, I highly recommend you buy an OLED TV and or Switch for this game as well as Surround sound speakers. A minimum of 5 (front, left, right, back left and back right) along with a subwoofer. This game is an artistic beauty, part of the charm and attention to detail is in sound that your regular TV will not be able to separate all the sound channels. Additionally, an OLED will bring this games art style to life. A masterpiece. Enjoy

I absolutely love this game a lot it truly is massive and I like no I love massive open world beautiful detailed views of hyrule and everything the devs thought to make the game a true work of design and beauty from combat to gameplay! I love all the weapons all the new enemies and real dungeons I love the ultra hand abilities and that you can fuse things and use your imagination to create anything almost we just need expanded tools to build with like more materials for not just building flying machines or cars boats ect but also expanded stuff for the builds of those like glass and shaping stuff like a black smith area and building forging our own weapons and armors and applying abilities to them for extra protection for armors we create and expanded abilities to weapons also would be really awesome to see the sheikah motor cycle return and a either a sheikah go kart or ZONAI vehicles!! Also would really love the option to fly a real loft wing and make armor for it! Also miss the beautiful character named Kass wish he was still in game lol I also miss the ways of old links of past games where you had a musical instrument to control the weather patterns and other things alike maybe bring back a musical instrument for link such as an accordion and lastly expand time travel to see more expanded worlds and regions I wanna explore the world of the ZONAI peoples and twilight realms and I miss going back and fourth between young link and adult link and seeing the difference of times and happy masked man bring him back absolutely!!!!

Yes please. THE BEST ZELDA OF ALL TIME!! BEAUTIFUL MASTERPIECE AND GAMEPLAY!! I mean creating your own weapons and collecting a plethora of costume options with abilities enhancing power, strength, stamina, stealth, fighting monsters ABOVE & BELOW the surface levels!! 3 LEVELS OF JOY! Insanely beautiful and very realistic graphics! New powers (surprise). And um shield surfing and tower sky jumping lol need I say more!! I’ll ruin all the magic if I do!

Great game in which you can also build stuff now, worth playing just as much as the first game imo, story is good and overall the gameplay is good

A disappointing 5/5. A great game. A technological achievement. A massive playground full of toys. But, it started to feel samey way too fast. Play through two of the dungeons and you'll see what I mean. I hope they go back to a more condensed formula with more variety and secrets hidden around each corner rather than korok seeds. Here's to the OoT, MJ, Windwaker and TP. For real though this was a great game. I had loads of fun.

I can't go into too many words on how great this game is, but I want to try in the least amount of words that I can. This game is a 9/10 and has some issues, but most of the issues I have are really nitpicky and don't draw from the game overall. If you enjoyed Breath of the Wild, you're going to love Tears of the Kingdom, they somehow turned Breath of the Wild into a better game and changed how the game plays and makes just about everything better. The story is insane, super emotional, and makes you really feel like the hero of Hyrule. I wish everyone who owns a Switch could play Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom at least once, it's something everyone should experience.

Best switch game 2024! Good story line and the additional new mechanics provide a limitless creativity! I’m fairly new to owning a switch and playing Nintendo games and I feel like this game delivers all aspect of a good story, combat, progression and etc.

This is a must buy game! For someone who finished a play through of breath of the wild a few months ago, this game continues the experience in a huge way. I find myself spending countless hours and losing track of time when I play. The story, characters, boss fights, and puzzles keep me on the edge of my seat and wanting more. While this game does not required you to have played breath of the wild, you do miss out on some references and story so I would recommend playing breath of the wild first and then play tears of the kingdom.

The Zelda universe is yours to live in. Graphics: There is so much detail in graphics it makes you just admire how much went into this beautiful living world. Day and night cycle, weather, shadows, smoke, cel shading details, the way the wind blows as fabric moves along with it including clothing, hair, tall grass, clouds hovering over you creating shadows, particle effects, I mean this has a sense of realism that I still can’t seem to understand is actually in a playable game. A lot of people look for ultra realistic lifelike graphics but they feel soulless. This is true realism where everything, everyone, and the world reacts to your movements and actions. How they achieved this is beyond me but I am blown away at this living world and it is just such a fresh breath of air from what is out there. You will fall in love. Music/Sound: Melow tunes, eerie vibes, relaxing tones, combative scores. Just as beautiful as the graphics. The sound effects are phenomenal. You hear how the wind sways from time to time all depending on weather, what surface you walk on or run on, what type of material would sound like when hitting a different material. I was running and I heard a little clashing noise so I stop and it stopped. I run and it starts to sound again so I’m now sure it’s me and it turns out it was my weapon hitting the shield as I ran but when I drew them out while running the sound stopped. That to me was absolutely incredible. Gameplay: this game requires a lot of patience but it is extremely rewarding and well worth the effort. You will die…a lot. As you progress through the game it becomes easier since you grasp the concept and enemies and story are phenomenal and I am only about 5 hours into this game. Every single person should play this game as it is a once in a lifetime experience and it is just so beautiful when you see it all just come together. Do not hesitate buying this game, it is extremely cheap in price compared to the endless hours you will spend on it. This game would be worth thousands if we were to base it on time over value. Thank you Nintendo and all those involved in the making of this amazing world for bringing back that feeling of playing a video game I thought I had lost. I appreciate it.

I love this game. I love the feel and look of the game. Being someone that has never played a Zelda game and this one being the first one that I've ever bought, I have to say I'm glad I waited for this one. The creativity and strategizing of it is what really does it for me. I love the new abilities that you can achieve. It's fun and you really have to use your mind to create the different things to get through the game and I love that part of it. I really hope that future Zelda games are like this game or even better. Which I'm sure Nintendo will do. This is a great game.

This game has everything I've asked for and more from a sequel to Breath of the Wild. Playing the game makes you understand why it took longer than its predecessor to come out. Being set in the same Hyrule as its prequel but with very many of its own twists makes the game feel very new but also familiar. The creative freedom you have is also boundless: being able to fuse weapons and objects together, being able to build constructs to solve puzzles, explore, and even help you fight enemies, and being able to reverse object movement with the Recall mechanic all allow for an endless array of enjoyable gameplay stunts and exploits.

I once thought this game was going to be a simple continuation of Breath of the wild, but this was far beyond what I had imagined. The mechanics of this game are beyond many of the current games on other consoles, and this is on a Nintendo switch, which is a toaster to todays standards. The story writing was great, and crafted in a way that there is no single angle of completing it. Lastly, the amount of time I’ve spent exploring beyond the main quest without boredom really sums up the game, as it’s where most current games fall. I hope to see more if this in the future.

BEST GAME EVER!!! I love the creativity, music, themes, and exploration. Super fun and tons of different ways to play the game. Truly a masterpiece.

This game is so fun and thought provoking on creativity I missed out on the buzz of BOTW but definitely got a switch just to play Zelda TOTK day 1 and to this day I’m still playing it, I can tell I’m nearing the end but I just don’t wanna beat it.

This was a gift for my husband who is going on a deployment soon. He is not a gamer by any means, but he needs something for entertainment on down times! I wasnt sure how he'd react, but he was ver excited and started playing immediately lol its been about a week already and hes obssesed! The open gameplay, the storyline and side quests, he loves it all! Even just watching him play is entertaining lol the amount of things you can customize and explore is wild! Its like Zelda meets Skyrim, awesome combo. This game is worth every penny, no regrets!

This game is everything I dreamed it would be and more. Easily tops the first in terms of gameplay and adds a whole new layer of innovation and creativity. Story is beautiful and environments breathtaking and vast. I could spend forever admiring this game for all time. Challenging encounters and puzzling shrines and dungeons that make you think!! A perfect sequel! Arrived on-time on release day thanks to BB's great shipping, even for me in a rural area! I love love love it and cannot recommend enough

This game is mind-blowing! It's like they took everything awesome about BOTW and cranked it up to eleven. The world's huge, insanely detailed, Story-wise, it's super engaging, with lots of cool new twists. And it looks gorgeous on the Switch - it's honestly hard to believe how good this game is. Seriously, whether you're a Zelda fanatic (like me) or just looking for an epic adventure, you gotta play this.

This game takes everything great from botw and perfects it. There's so much to do, it's overwhelming but in the best way. The creativity it allows with ultrahand is so free and allows you to make anything you can thing of. And ascend and recall feel so broken because of how useful it is. The new shrines are way better than botw and gives you so many tools to beat the with all abilities you have. Still working on the story(kinda), but I keep getting side tracked. But overall 10/10
