I am so happy I get to play this is such a fun game I can't wait to get further.

Windwaker is an amazing game from start to finish. Great gameplay, compelling storyline, beautiful art direction and an instant classic in my eyes. The HD version is so visually stunning on an HD television, I really don't have words. Add that to game pad options, a few extras and a faster sail and it's easily the definitive version of this game. I highly recommend this game to any WindWaker fan that wants to see it on the big screen.

When The Wind Waker first was released on the Gamecube back in 2002 folks were mixed on the "toon shaded" artstyle Nintendo had chose coming off the success of the N64's Ccarina of Time and Majora's Mask, but after discovering how great an adventure was to be had underneath its new coat of paint, they warmed up to the change and "Toon Link" carried over to various other games and spinoffs of the series. First and foremost the graphics are the most striking element of this title and even more so in this really well done HD remake. It's like you're playing a cartoon, and its animation....especially when in battle is a sight to behold. If only future Zelda were a fluid as what they delivered in Waker. The game itself is a grand action adventure where you sail the seas of Hyrule and traverse many a dungeon to ensure the safety of the title's Princess, who actually plays a much larger role in this particular installment. Making things easier, Nintendo added items like a new sail for your boat in this version which eliminates having to change the direction of the wind which made sailing a bit of a hassle back in the day constantly having to readjust your bearings. Also included is a photo capture side quest of every character and enemy in the game which unlocks statues of them for you to collect and check out when you want a little down time in the game's massive quest. A quest that should be pretty accessible for most gamers outside of some stealth bits here and there which require patience if you're not down with that style of play. Classic game. Amazing visuals. Must buy title.

The controls are intuitive, especially to those familiar with the franchise. The story is unique when compared to the Zeldas that came before it. The art style is absolutely gorgeous. It was in Standard Def when this game came out for the Gamecube, but now that's High Def it's simply insane. This art style was the best thing to happen to the franchise in a long time.

I played this for the GameCube, way back when. Loved it then and now it's even greater now. High Definition graphics and the use of the Wii U Gamepad for map, item, and everything use makes this version of The Wind Waker the definitive version. If you played it before, enjoy it again in better detail. If you've never played it before, don't miss out!

Zelda: Wind Waker HD, originally released on the Nintendo Gamecube, is a fantastic game. This HD re-release really shows off the cell shade graphics for this beautiful port to Wii U. I prefer to use the Wii U pro controller for this game, but, with the game pad there are some extra features that are nice. Great game for kids and Zelda fans.

If you've played Wind Waker you know what to expect, but with better graphics. The game puts an interesting spin on the Zelda games, adding a large overworld of islands separated by the ocean. The atmosphere is second to none, and Nintendo really nails the story in this one. One of my favorite games growing up, I had to buy the HD remaster.

The original wind waker was polarizing on release, but when looked back on it really was a gem of the time. Extremely fluid controls, great story and lots of heart make this a true gem. The HD remaster is gorgeous, the game runs smoothly and the gameplay tweaks really kick it up a notch or two. This is a truly must own game.

Grew up with Legend of Zelda and this played better than N64 game. visuals, game mechanics, story line excellent. Fun to play. Stunning HD. Ran without hiccups on the Wii U. Had a lot of fun playing with game. Not too hard for young ones to play with.

I remember never getting a chance to finish this game on my buddy's game cube, so when this came out in HD on the Wii U, I knew I had to get it. It's definitely in my top 3 of all Zelda games and offers great gameplay with the wii u gamepad

Never having the opportunity to play Zelda Wind Waker on Game Cube but have always wanted to, the Wii U HD edition was a must. The game is absolutely beautiful. And the game it's self is amazing. Highly recommend.

The original on the Game Cube is one of my all time favorite games in the Zelda series. This remake takes a great game and makes it even better! It looks absolutely stunning in HD and the gamepad is very useful.

I relaly enjoy the look of this game. Its artstyle and graphics are unique and look really pretty as its HD remake. Of course, the game was amazing before, and it still holds true in the remake

I never played this game it's first time around so I picked this up for the Wii U, Game play was great, the updated graphics were good, and the story was fantastic. Definitely a good buy!

Amazing game! Fantastic gameplay and beautiful art style! I could say that this game is my favorite out of The Legend of Zelda franchise. A must have for Zelda fans and Wii U owners!

I bought the original on gamecube back in the day but never really got into it. When this version came out I gave it another go and man, what a game. Even though the game isn't the incredible powerhouse we expect from the new zelda, its still gorgeous. The map on the pad along with the inventory screen work great. I haven't really played any other wii u games where they use that screen to its advantage. If you are a zelda fan and looking for a reason to own that wii u, then this is the game to get. I wish there were a few more missions or even some dlc but this game is still worth your investment.

Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD, an already solid game (previously released) now with beautiful HD graphics full of bright color and eye popping effects. At first, the thing that may turn some gamers of the previous incarnation of Wind Waker is the Wii U gamepad, but it's nothing short of a brilliant concept that makes an already great game even more appealing. Coupled with fantastic high definition graphics, unique but user friendly control scheme and plenty of action, exploring and puzzle solving this game is truly a step away from the norm in a very good way. I've heard from some that the $50 price tag isn't fair for a game that has been previously released but I disagree. I'm the type of gamer who refuses to spend $60 on a game, so for me $50 price tag isn't steep especially for a Zelda game. A) $50 for an already top notice game with HD graphics and a newly designed control scheme now making use of the Wii U gamepad and B) it's still $10 less than most new games on the market. My only gripe (which in no way affects this game) is at Nintendo for not releasing a next-gen Zelda game for a game system that obviously needs it in favor of remaking a classic. While, Wind Waker is no game changer luring vast amounts of gamers new and old, it still competes with other games including some next-gen ones on the market today.

Great graphics, controls and story. This is a must own for any zelda fan or owner of the wii u. A must have for any collection.
