Great performances, but the pace killed it for me

Unfortunately, the slow pacing killed it for me. Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson put on phenomenal performances, but it wasn't enough to pull me in.

Avante garde, a burden to watch, well done

Willem Dafoe's acting is superb, but watching it was decidedly uncomfortable -- perhaps that was the point. Definitely NOT a movie I would watch again, and I wish I would have spent my money on another movie.

Not a very good movie. Many times you find yourself asking “how did we get to this point”. If you feel the need, rent it before making a choice to purchase. I plan on handing my copy to a stranger.

As the movie went on, it just weirder. Sometimes weird is good and sometimes it is bad. For me, it was bad in this case.
