I was extremely disappointment in this film

So, I thought I'd check out 'The Lighthouse', and I could not get on board with this film. I'd rent this film first before you purchase this. I took a leap of faith and purchased this film prior to watching it, and I should have rented this film first.

Great acting

Slow, tedious, awful

Even the big storm wasn't exciting. The black and white added to the atmosphere but that's all I can say on the positive side. I did learn not to empty a bed pan into the wind.

Late and broken

19th Century two-hander

Near cinematic perfection, I says!

Pattinson and Dafoe are stunning and the directing and cinematography are near perfection. Easily one of the best films of 2019. Let The Lighthouse take you for a black and white, sea-shanty, psychedelic ride!
