    From the opening shot to the end of the credits, I couldn't take my eyes away from the screen. Masterful.

    2 men forced to live and care for a lighthouse. The movie is very surreal and will not appeal to everyone. It is black and white and shown in 4:3 format. The blacks are black and the whites are gray because its never brightly lit. What surprised me is Patenson he was excellent a very bold choice to do this movie. Defoe was amazing he is one of my favorites and he didnt disappoint.

    The chemistry between Dafoe and Pattinson was fantastic. I just wish I got a God speed Batman at the end

    So the light from the lighthouse is basically Dave’s Jones’ Locker and Williem DaFoe is obsessed!
