I received the box set on time and I gotta say what a huge difference in the bluray vs the 4k. 4k skintone and colors more natural, the scenery is in sharper detail and the soundtrack is in Dolby Atmos,huge improvement in sound..Very happy with this 5 stars thanks BB.

More expensive than I would like it to be. However, we watch LOTR on an almost weekly basis. So buying the best format in 4K will definitely be worth the investment.

Unbelievable graphics not as good as today but very good great story very entertaining and magical also long extended version but worth the watch awesome box set from Best Buy

This edition not only looks great in adding 4K but they added even more scenes and story to the movies. If you like all things lord of the rings you will be pleased with this even if you have the Blu-ray extended editions.

I am a huge Lord The Rings fan, And I’m so excited to have these movies on 4K finally. The Dolby Atmos is fantastic, the Dolby Vision looks really great. Highly recommend the upgrade! The box set is simply amazing!

It’s not a matter of if you need this but when. If you are a LOTR fan, the presentation can’t be beat. It’s new 4K transfer, new color grade and sound mix is like watching it new again. The box is pretty cool too.

Love the packaging and extras with this set. Digital code also gives you all three movies, both theatrical and extended editions with one code. Set was a little expensive, but worth it if you are a fan of LOTR.

Great 4k transfer with Atmos sound. Only disappointment is that they didn't port over the various commentaries from the previous edition.

The extended editions of a lot of films mostly prove why the added scene were cut. That is not the case with LOTR. There was so much pertinent story to tell and Jackson just had to cut for time.

In terms of movie quality, so far the 4K transfer looks very good and the sound is excellent. I'm very happy to own the series in 4K. But in terms of a Collector's Edition, I think this falls very short. The case is cardboard and very flimsy and the ring is very lackluster. I would recommend people buy the Steelbook version instead.

Picture quality is amazing, all the issues from the previous release like the tint are fixed. Case itself could be a lot better, the discs didn't stay in the holder and many were loose and out in the case when I got the products. They really cheeped out on the packaging here but the actual movie quality is great. I would recommend to just get the regular release and not the collectors.

Lord of the rings looks so awesome in 4K hdr. The ring that was included with this set is awesome as well, doesn’t feel cheap either. Very happy with this purchase.

what can i say lord of rings now in 4k just an awesome trilogy made even better love it.Looks amazing in 4k and if your a fan of the trilogy you have to get it.

Great 4k video transfer and Dolby Atmos track, movie looks new and sounds great. A must have if your a movie purest. This collectors edition box set is a must have

A masterpiece! Remastered in 4k makes it even more amazing to watch. Extended and Regular versions are included so take a few weekends to watch it all.

Even though this was expensive, I really like the better picture and sound quality. The packaging could have been better.. BUT hey this is 2020..

Movies are awesome and look great! Only issue I have is that the package should have been metal! Especially at the cost! But movies look great!!

This is far and away the greatest thing I have in my Lord of the Rings collection. Bar none. What a wonderful looking thing!! I am astounded!!
