Now The Love Guru is not the best film every made, by any means. It is however a fun family film that I remember watching frequently years ago. Best had a great deal for this film at one point - 3.99.

This movie is definitely not his greatest, but has classic Mike Myers humor. Good for Mike Myers fans.

I'm shocked that this movie wasn't on the list of the greatest movies ever made!! The first time I watched it, I thought it was cute and funny, but I didn't understand all the implications at that time, only a few. So, I watched it again, and I understood even more. Then, I googled a bunch of terms/words from the movie that I didn't get and watched it again... HOW HILARIOUS!! I think people miss a lot when watching this only once... you MUST watch it several times to catch it all!!! My husband and I just put this movie on all the time to watch it, giggle, and even for background noise! It's great! I think they hid a lot of "implications" well from children, too, so there's not a whole lot of foul language nor adult content. Of course, it depends upon who you are and how you raise your children, but I think I would want kids to watch it to learn the positive messages in it... just have to be ready to explain things if they ask questions about what they don't understand if you're laughing or whatever. This movie has most definitely put Mike Myers at the top of my list for comedy movies #above Jim Carrey#!!! I love all the songs in it and appreciate the real voices of the actors in it, too! I walk around singing all the songs! HEE HEE. I find myself quoting a lot from it, too. I just can't say enough about this movie and how it has actually impacted my life! I will continue to watch it over and over as one of the All Time Favorite Movies of this household! I have recommended this movie to ALL my family & friends!
