Our family enjoys this version of The Magnificent Seven more than the recent remake, even if the remake is still enjoyable.

Excellent price. Why does this half to be 50 characters or more, what i stated is enough for a dvd. What nonsense.

One of the classic movies of all time. A personal favorite and a must have if you are a fan of westerns. A+

I purchased this movie - Magnificent Seven - so that I could compare it to the current remake. I was impressed with the many stars that acted in this movie. Charles Bronson, Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen, Robert Vaughn, Eli Wallach and James Coburn. It took me back to the glory days when I actually knew the actors names. This is a good movie and well acted. The scenery at times is outstanding. Has a fair amount of gun play as does the newer version. Found this version to be more realistic. However the newer version has a faster pace and is extremely more entertaining.

They don't make movies like this anymore, it's a timeless classic. I was very happy to find it in the DVD format.

Bought this for a gift for a family member. Hes a western movie guy and loves this movie. So i would recommend it

I liked the newer version that came out recently, but the original is by far the best. One of the top westerns ever made.

Skip the remake and check out the original Magnificent Seven instead. It still stands as one of the greatest Westerns ever.

I'm not much of a western fan, but I love this movie. Better than the remake.

I never get sick of these great older films. This is one of my favorites. I enjoy watching with my 13 year old grandson.

This was a gift for my husband and the fact that he got a free ticket to see the new Magnificent Seven was an added bonus.

I'd just seen the remake of The Magnificent Seven which I really enjoyed. I purchased the original as I couldn't remember how close it followed the original. It remains a great and classic film.

Not only are the actors good and the story line is very well written, but the movie leaves you with a life's lesson.

One of the better westerns, but not the greatest. Shows the universality of the story behind Kurosawa's Seven Samurai.

The price was certainly right for this. With a movie ticket to see the remake, it was like getting this classic for free.

One of the best Westerns of all times. Never seems to get old. A lot of big time actors early in their careers.

I first saw this movie when it came out in 1960. This DVD version has all the scenes that I remember plus one or two.
