I'll admit, I picked this up because I heard they were remaking it. Had no idea how star studded this film was. The bonus feature documentary was really good as well.

Original movie sets good pacing. The actors are pretty decent and film location matches well with the storyline. Would recommend to pass time or compare to remake.

Having just recently purchased the remake of this film, I could not pass up the chance to get a copy of the original. This is the definition of a classic western.

Great classic movie. We watched this one, the original, and then the new one. Of course, the new one looked better, but we still like the original one best.

Based on the seven samurai by Kurosawa, makes this a classic western. After viewing Kurosawa Gave Sturgis a samurai sword, because he was impressed.

I saw the movie in town and years later on tv and it was great seeing it again . I bought a new copy for my viewing at home and it was just as good as the movie.

This is a classic western that was one of the first times that the cowboy was cast as perhaps not a hero. The behind the scenes interviews are a nice bonus too

Look at the list of GREAT actors in this, and you realize this is a gem of a movie! lots of fun, and better then the lousy denzel remake!

There is absolutely NO reason why this movie should have been remade! Sparkling dialogue, realistic action sequences, outstanding cast. Deserves a perfect 10!

The Husband loves this movie. We bought three DVDs from the sales bin to view while taking a long camper trip. Fun to see some of the old favorites.

This western ranks right up there with the greatest such as the original of "The Magnificent Seven." Probably one of the best fight scene of its time.

The "Magnificent Seven" is truely one of the best western movies ever made. If you have not seen it you should, after that you will want to own it.

I found the movie in the bargain section. The print and sound are decent although being an old movie the digitization cannot be compared to the newer movies. The movie of course is awesome for an oldie. Good value for the money

If you've seen the new Magificent 7 with Denzel Washington and liked it, then this movie will entertain you as well. I'm glad I bought both movies.

A awesome movie , this was one of the greatest westerns ever. I was so happy to find this at Best Buy and put in my collection, a great move.

We stumbled upon this movie by accident while Christmas shopping. My husband was very delighted to have found the original version to this movie.
