I wasn't thrilled with this one. Back in the day it was probably quite fun and a trip for movie goers since there was some audience interaction going on.
A pair of the red/blue 3D glasses comes with to watch the 3D scenes. You have to hold them to your face because they are just the front of the glasses, no ear pieces.
I suggest watching a couple of the extras before the movie. There is one that allows you to adjust the color on your tv correctly for this film. I did not know this, and it might be why I saw such horrible double exposures.
One of the extras is a magician doing his tricks and introducing the movie. They are cute skits but the 3D is god awful on them. Again, maybe adjusting your color may improve this. Although in the commentary he mentioned how bad the 3D was in color that used this same system.
The 3D did have great depth and a lot of pop outs. This one was purely made for the gimmick. These dream sequences where you put the glasses on are basically suppose to be like a bad acid trip.
The storyline and acting left a lot to be desired. The acting was all deadpan, which I find to be super boring.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The movie stars off slow then gets more exciting near the end. When told to put on the mask you put on the 3d glasses and see what i would say is a nightmare from the person putting on the MASK. The movie is in black and white. Not all that scary.
