The Matrix in 4K-HDR is worthy of being in anyone’s movie collection. Neo (Keanu Reeves) is “The One”! There is lots of action that 4K-HDR enhances making for an awesome visual experience. The Matrix will have its 20th anniversary next spring. In this new era of CGI being blended into the action The Matrix holds it’s own with the newest movies. If you like futuristic action you’ll enjoy it.

One of the greatest motion pictures of our time is now on blu-ray disc. It's great to know this essential film will be preserved on a relatively high quality format in addition to the obvious celluloid prints that must exist and will inevitably deteriorate over time. If aliens come to Earth long after our civilization has gone extinct, they will have at least one way to watch this film--blu-ray. By then, the image quality will be poor compared to whatever real-life experiential reproduction format exists at that time. But at least there will be a record. This disc is that record. Of a time when humans thought what it would be like if there were sentient machines and what it would like if and when those very machines would come to control us. It may be those very machines that catch this blu-ray copy down the line. If anything, I'm happy to do my part in preserving a copy for longevity of a must-see masterpiece action film.

Aside from the fantastic story, The Matrix looks stunning in 4K UHD quality. This is a must-buy for all the fans of this franchise. It's worth mentioning this movie comes inside an attractive box, and also contains a code to redeem a digital copy of the film; which can be added to the most popular digital libraries online.

A classic scifi movie in 4k with HD audio. This is the Matrix movie hit that started the series. In my opinion this is the best one in the series. The picture is crisp and clear and the audio is as good as it gets. If you like scifi movies and don't have this one in your collection you might want to give this a try.

I checked stock on this item almost daily - finally was able to get it and was not disappointed! I'm starting to amp up my 4K collection and this was a must buy. I didn't have any issues with the digital code not coming with mine like some have mentioned. I feel like after all of the releases and re-releases since '99, this has been the one to do it justice!

Just recently purchased a 4k tv, so I'm having to build my library of 4k movies. One of the first I bought was The Matrix, one of my all time favorites. The translation to 4k is excellent...crisp scenes, colors pop, and deep sound. Would recommend to any fan of the series. The only drawback is having to get it again in 5-6 years when the next format comes out.

If you own a 4k capable tv, give yourself a treat this christmas....'The Matrix' in 4K HD. I shed a tear watching this cinematic masterpiece the other night...It was as if I was transported back to 1999 and was watching it for the first time all over again...Except with out all the obnoxious dweebs in black trenchcoats and combat boots sitting around me.

I really liked this film. I mean I REALLY liked it. I saw the others in this series and I felt they did this film an injustice. You could tell that this one was written without the other two in mind. Seeing this one in 4K was worth it. Buy only this one and the Animatrix in 4K and forget that they 2 sequels.

Hands-down, my favorite movie/saga of all time & it's not even close! This is truly what home theater is all about! I've owned it on all home video formats & it's no surprise that 4K HDR is where it's at! Experiencing this on my state-of-the-art iMaX theater is a complete & utter revelation!

The Matrix on 4K HDR is a great demo disc to show off your 4K TV and surround sound. The sound of bullets whizzing by and the raindrops from overhead made this soundtrack one of the best I’ve heard. I have an LG OLED and the black levels were amazing throughout the movie. The clarity and sharp picture makes this version a great upgrade from Blu-ray!

I couldn't resist purchasing this new 4K remastered edition of The Matrix! The work put into this blows away every previous release with far more detail, clarity, and colors that are far more true to its theatrical version! There's no better way to experience this excellent sci-fi action movie!

What's not to like about The Matrix? This mind bending action movie is a must watch! Just be careful, because it can really make you question everything you've even known, lol! But the case and disk were in perfect condition, and the 4k looks great! 10/10!

I can't believe how good this movie still looks, nearly 20 years later! In 4K it looks amazing !!! HDR I think makes the movie look a lot less green, which I hated about the DVD, so to me I love it. Some people may not like that possibly... But I think color here is what strikes me the most... Probably due to re-coloring for HDR.

The movie offers some iconic moments in screen history; the scene on the roof with Neo dodging bullets from an agent where slow-motion and 360 degree camera work produce a noteworthy experience for the viewer. Also, the sparring scene with Neo and Morpheus provides the viewer with the experience of seeing the result of down-loading information and know-how directly to the brain.

The 4K Dolby Atmos version of the Matrix has significantly better audio with excellent surround sound panning from front to back especially with the Atmos channels and also much better bass and LFE! The video is also much better than ever before. No graininess with much better black levels. Overall I consider this a reference video!
