If your a fan of this movie then you owe it to yourself to have this in your collection it looks amazing in 4k specially if you have a Dolby Vision TV also if have a good Dolby Atmos setup it sounds amazing so if you like the Matrix then you need to get this plus the steelbook is beautiful.

The Matrix is one film that 4K Blu-ray was made especially for!From the very beginning when the code on the computer standout to the very end with the hallway fight with Neo and the agents. The films story line is great, the 4K visual improvements make this movie fantastic. I can't wait for the other Matrix films to come out on 4K

I’ve had this movie on dvd, Blu-ray, and now UHD. This uhd disc looks unbelievable. Many may find it shocking, but it looks better than I remembered from the theater. Hard to believe this is almost a 20 yr old movie! ATMOS sound is amazingly sharp. The scene where Neo saves Morpheus puts every speaker into overdrive.

When The Matrix came out before the turn of the century the Sci-Fi genre, other than SW, was lacking in comparison to it's action genre counterparts, but this movie "bullet timed" everything and it certainly changed everything. I'm glad Best Buy had a good deal on this classic...and in super HD (4K)...I can now see it anew!

I have always loved this movie and the move to 4k is very impressive! Most people will point out that this isn't a colorful movie so how can it look better in 4k? Well thankfully the HDR offered helps the blacks and whites look more prominent and that makes a huge difference in the presentation! Definitely worth the upgrade!

The steelbook doesn't have any art inside of it. As far as the movie, what can i say that hasn't already been said. It was ok, I'm sure it was awesome in its day. but for me it was ok movie. Makes you think though...

Possibly along with Saving Private Ryan, the best Dolby ATMOS remaster of a 90’s Film. The Matrix looks amazing in Ultra HD 4K and the ATMOS sound will test the limits of immersive surround sound system. Your height speakers will be very active. Following the white rabbit blows away HD DVD and blu ray editions.

This is one of the best Sci-Fi films since Terminator 2 to take special effects where they didn’t go before. It definitely deserved all the Oscars it was nominated for and won. I highly recommend this one even though some of the sequels weren’t as good.

This film is a classic. I bought this because I wanted to upgrade my collection to 4K. I already have the blu ray. The 4k is not that huge of a jump in picture but it is still very good with perfect black levels. If you don't own. the film at all, puck it up in 4K. If you have Bluray, no need to rush out.

This film has aged very well when transferred to Dolby Vision 4K UHD BD (not a reference BD) but actually the greens and the yellows look close to what the film was back in the day and better for today! The Dolby Atmos surround sound home theater track is explosive and the midsounds are crisp and clean!

I have the regular bluray and comparing both the 4k version and bluray, WB did a great job sharpening this movie in both picture quality and sound the atmos is so adorable to hear it in the NAKAMICHI 9.2.4 SYSTEM which i have , buy this movie in 4k

The Matrix set the tone for how action films would look going forward. It broke new ground and told a great story. The fact that it is now available in 4K in a steelbook package is amazing, and whether you enjoyed the sequels or not, this film deserves to be in any movie lover's collection.

I have always loved the Matrix trilogy. I was happy to see it was being released on 4K. Watching it in 4K, I was how the film in 4K made the special effects just explode on the screen. I'm looking forward to seeing the 2nd and 3rd movies coming out on 4K. It is worth it to see all 3 in 4K!

For one, this movie is a classic in itself, and for two if you find this on (deal of the day) it's a no brainer. I add all my digital content to Vudu for mor access. This steel book collection includes the digital, bluray, and 4k options and is well worth it.

I love this movie to death. The Mike Wazowski brothers truly made a masterpiece. Watching it in 4K really makes it feel like you're there, inside the matrix. Almost as if we were already inside the matrix, and this movie lowers the veil we've placed on our heads. Now, go follow that rabbit.

I now own "The Matrix" on every format from DVD to 4K UHD and I can say hands down this movie has never looked or sounded better. The image is absolutely gorgeous with vivid colors and natural tones. Watching this version is like watching the film for the first time all over again.

The Wachowski's masterpiece. The cast is perfect. The intricacies of the Matrix are captivating. The visual effects stand the test of time. Just an all-around classic. Can't recommend this film enough to someone unfamiliar to the Sci-Fi genre.

The Matrix was ahead of its time when it was released when it came to special effects and it remains that way today with its Dolby Vision presentation on this disc. This movie holds up much better than you would think over 20 years later.

One of my favorite movies. Great 4K Mastering. I also have in UHD on my Xbox and this looks way better. Obviously, I debated on buying it for that reason but it has a kick a** sleeve and like I said one of my favorite movies

By now, you know if you like this movie or not. With Dolby Vision, and an actual 4k intermediate source, this is easily the best this movie has ever looked. Sound is amazing as well. Fine details are amazing. Colors and lighting are fantastic. A definite demo catalogue title.
