I'll always remember the first time I saw The Matrix, and that was all the way back as a freshman in high school. It still stands as one of the best Sci-Fi movies ever made, and the cinematography, action sequences, and stunts are still some of the best.

The original and best of what went on to become a movie trilogy. Some of the special effects may seem dated now, but it was very innovative for its' time. Almost every action movie since has borrowed/copied things from this movie.

In my opinion this is one of the greatest movies ever made. The plot is great and the special effects are awesome. The upgrade to 4K is fantastic. I would recommend this movie to all IT IS A GREAT FILM

Excellent story. Reeves may be "The One" but he gets a lot of support from Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss, Pantoliano, and particularly Hugo Weaving as Agent Smith. Must have movie.

The sound is the seller here. I switched back and forth with the Bluray and the sound on this makes my old blu ray sound tinny. The color reproduction is way better and natural. Well worth the upgrade.

If you have a 4k tv with hdr or dolby get this disc. Not just for the movie but for the viewing experience. This gives my Interstellar a run for the money. But like i said this is one heck of a presentation.

The clarity of this picture is fantastic. The construction and presentation of these limited edition steelbooks also add to the luster if you are a collector. highly recommended.

Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Ann Moss and Laurence Fisburne shine in this dystopian film that questions the very nature of reality while also trying to save the human race.

Man bend over real far backwards and dodge bullet and slow time and this is parodied many times over in media since cause this is a good movie buy it just buy it.

Purchased this for the theater experience and it doesn’t disappoint. Incredible 4K video with terrific black levels. Audio is also very dynamic. This master is recommended for demoing your home theater.

If you were a fan of the Matrix, you're in for a treat with this disc. Some parts of the movie didn't age that well, but overall a fantastic experience.

I seen the matrix and every format that it’s been made on and I have to say 4K made me feel like I was watching it for the very first time no joke I recommend anybody who is a major fan to get the 4K

The Matrix has you from the beginning to the end. What a great sci-fi flick to be sure. The picture is very decent and the audio is sick. Get a copy son.

If you have seen the matrix then you will love it Even more in 4k and if u haven’t seen it then watching it on 4k for the first time is the best way to experience it

What can I say if you are buying his you know what you are about to watch the transfer to 4K HDR is fantastic and really gives the effects the proper pop it needs absolutely recommend this version.

Movie is 5 start but the product is not. This is my 3rd matrix (1999) movie. the first one I bought was DVD in early 2000s. DVD had home screen with nice music and best scenes. I used to play just the home screen in loop for hours at home. The Blu-ray that I bought from best buy had no home screen, you play the disc and right away the movie starts. I bought this 4K version from best buy again and still the same disappointment, no home screen. You can consider me a matrix geek and main reason I bought the blueray/4K was the home screen and hope of playing that home screen for hours. So it is a total disappointment. Not sure why there is no home screen. Absence of home screen should be clarified on the product. I mean this is important for a movie, what other technical things that need to be clarified? almost none.

The Steelbook Case differs from the photo shown, and is actually a much cooler/ more artistic design. The Steelbook shows the pods in which Neo awoke. Very awesome movie and the remaster looks great

When this came out, it was revolutionary. It's aged well, but the rest of the franchise failed miserably. This is a nice story with good acting and fun special effects. Steelbook is cool too.

Personally I think this movie is just ok. It's got a lot of hype. It starts off really slow but the ending is awesome.
