This is my first experience with a steel book and I’m not sure that I’d get one again. It arrived dented. I purchased 2 more as gifts and one of those arrived dented too. I recommend this movie, but am not sure I’m sold on the steel book.

Been a very big fan of the Matrix and this is a beautiful rendition of the movie. Includes 4k UHD and the case and inside is absolutely beautiful. Would highly recommend for any fan of the Matrix to take your collection to the next level!

First of all, the steelbook is beautiful! Comes with the movie in 4k and Blu-Ray. The video and sound quality is impeccable compared to the original Blu-Ray release. If you are a fan of the film, do yourself a favor and pick this up!

Again, everyone probably seen this already, Its worth having the first one in the series, excellent movie. I got it for the steelbook artwork and maybe wayyyyy down the road, I'll get a 4K tv...but not real soon. I'm not into the 4K hype.

Okay, this is an older hit movie, and yes, everyone has seen it or already owns it. I'm just here to say I got this for the Steelbook art, but the picture shown is not the art on my purchase, its the pod with the baby in it on front.

Wanted to get this version since it's The Matrix's 20th anniversary. I recall that it had one of the best non-spoilery Super Bowl trailers. We had no idea what it was before it was released. Can't really do that anymore.

The Matrix series is one of my favorite movie series. I am glad I held out fo The Matrix 4K SteelBook to add to my Steelbook collection. Great Steelbook artwork design on the outside and inside of the SteelBook case!

It's the Matrix. It's in 4k. Something that's not on the box is that for this release the audio tracks were re-worked to support Dolby Atmos. The surround sound on this version is INTENSE. Th definitive version to buy in 2019.

On my list of the top 50 movies of all time, The Matrix raised the bar for special effects, imagination, and general coolness of sic-fi cinema. Have watched it numerous times, but cannot wait to see it again.

They did a wonderful job remastering this movie. For the age of this movie it is one of the best transfers that I have seen and they did a wonderful job on the video and sound quality. I highly recommend this movie

Best way I've ever watched the Matrix. Picture and sound absolutely blew me away. This version was a noticeable step up from my bluray editions. Now I need to get the next 2 installments in 4k as well.

The 4k upgrade and the carefully done color grading look amazing. Colors look right for the first time on home video. Fantastic sound, too. Absolutely worth the upgrade if you have previous discs.

If there's a movie that could benefit from 4k/HDR then look no further. It looks even better now than on previous home formats. I also snagged this for under $10.00 which I consider a steal in 4k.

I was blown away at how good this movie looks on 4K. Most 4K re-makes are just another way to resell the old movie in a new package. This movie is 20 years old and looks like it was filmed in 2018 w/ 4K cameras.

Always enjoyed the movie and felt best to be just by itself and no sequels needed. Best version you can get on home release. 4K and HDR really shows how great this movie can look. Worth it for the price.

This is definitely worth it for the 4K audio upgrades alone. Not to mention its the Matrix a modern classic so you just can't go wrong. Cheap Black Friday purchase made it a must have!

So I’m not a fan of the second and third movie of this franchise, but the first is excellent. Still looks great after all these years and the black levels and HDR look fantastic on the 4K version

The Matrix still looks amazing and 4K is the definitive picture. The action, quotes, and moments you remember are all there. Dial up is long gone but the cultural impact of the Matrix lives on.

I own this movie in every forma, dvd, Blu-ray and now HD Blu-ray. I believe the biggest jump in picture quality was from dvd to Blu-ray. However the ultra HD Blu-ray does have some nice subtle upgrades. In both the cd and the Blu-ray it seems the screen is over saturated with a green hue. It’s not as obnoxious in the HD version. Also the picture quality is impressive in some scenes. It’s a must have in your collection.

This movie was superbly done. It does a fantastic job a plying with the audiences mind and puts you the position to figure things out. Fantastic special effects and great. Action.
