This is a movie trilogy that has always meant a lot to me. Now I get to watch all three movies in 4k plus they come with regular blu-rays. Perfect buy.

I'll get straight to it: the most obvious upgrade in the 4K presentation of this sci-fi classic trilogy is being in the real world and in the Matrix. The green hue of the Matrix is made much more clear and vivid, and as far as story-telling goes, drives the point of "What is the Matrix?" even further. The 4K presentation is nearly perfect. My only complaint - though not enough of a complaint to warrant anything less than a perfect 5-star rating from this user - is that "The Animatrix" isn't included in this 4K set. Other than that, "whoa"! I remember when the original "Matrix" film was simultaneously released on VHS and DVD, and I convinced my dad that it was definitely one of those films we should get on DVD because the picture was twice as good as the VHS. Well, here I am 19 years later telling to get the 4K format of the Matrix trilogy because it's 4x better than Blu-ray!

It's even more amazing watching it in 4k and also makes more sense now than before with all the unbelievable leap in computer science and technology and AI.

These movies have never looked so beautiful. Watching them on a LG OLED. Just flawless. The blacks really stand out in this since these are darker movies

That says it all.. WOW. What a terrific upgrade to the original. The remix of the soundtrack is absolutely phenomenal. Definitely worth the double dip.

Now, I agree that “The Matrix” is a true classic and that the two sequels did fall short, but I still find enjoyment in both “The Matrix Reloaded” and “The Matrix Revolutions” as well. This particular package is great because not only does it have 4K releases of all three films, it also has better box art. I know that doesn’t mean much to most people, but for some it does. The outer case that holds all three films is good, but the box art on the individual cases is great, especially when compared to the original DVD releases (specifically “Revolutions”). As far as special features are concerned, you get all the features that was included in previous releases. I didn’t really see anything new in that department, which is not a surprise as the Wachowskis were reluctant to have special features even in the past. Overall, this is a great box set if you don’t already have Blu-Ray copies and/or you want to upgrade to 4K.

It's probably the best sound and picture quality of any of the 300+ discs that I have. And it's a good story line. A must watch!

Owned it in the Blu-Ray version, but this set is a classic and therefore re-bought in the higher end 4k format. Totally love the film set.

Even though they are old the transfer to 4K looks great and sounds great. If you are hanging on to your DVD copies it is time to move on.

Looks excellent in 4k and the sound is superb. Loved these movies for the longest time and they finally get the 4k release they deserve.

I already had the Matrix 4K but had to get the set especially on sale. Great picture quality. Definitely worth the upgrade if you’re a fan.
