The master of mirth Mister Mel provides us with ceaseless chuckles and a cacophony of chortle in this nine volume time of some of the funniest, most outrageous movies ever produced. Westerns, horror, sci-fi and fantasy are all brought down to size only to be built up again in these incredibly hilarious and hysterical films. If you love to laugh, both loudly and often, grab these up. At this price, it can't be beat!

Mel Brooks' films, particularly Blazing Saddles, probably couldn't get made today because they are too offensive to too many people. But that was exactly the point. Mel was and is legitimate because he spared no one from his biting one liners and hysterical sight gags. You'll laugh out loud while learning where scores of pop culture references actually originated. "We don't need no stinkin' badges!"

I am a big fan of Mel Brooks' films. I've watched all his movies. My favorites are in this collection: Blazing Saddles, High Anxiety, Silent Movie, Young Frankenstein, and History of the World Pt.1. I also love the other films in this collection, Looking forward to watching the 12 Chairs. I didn't know he directed this film. Looking forward to watching it.

Who doesn't love Mel Brooks and his movies? A great collection of classic comedies that are just as funny today as they were when they came out. Had to get Blazing Saddles before the commie leftists try and ban it because they're offended by the wind blowing. A must have for any Brooks fan.

Of course, if you can't stand Mel Brooks comedies, you won't be able to stand this. But if you like them, this is a great collection and the audio/visual transfers and extras are satisfactory and thoughtful. However, the collection is missing The Producers and Dracula: Dead and Loving It. The collection feels incomplete without them. But you can always buy them separately, I suppose.

I got this on sale for an incredible value. Space balls, blazing saddles, and men in tights are good enough for the whole thing to me. I haven’t seen history of the world yet, but am looking forward to it. If you have seen a Mel Brooks movie, you know what you are getting.

This is loaded with extras and directors commentary! Everything you could ever want in a Mel Brooks collection. Interviews and extras are sometimes in "low def" but that's not a issue for us. Really enjoyed every bit of this collection.

I love Mel Brooks and his amazing, humorous take on various areas of life. I don't there is any way you can watch this any of these classic movies and not laugh! If you are easily offended, walk on by and don't bother watching this.

Great collection if you don't have any of his movies already. Given political correctness they will probably be banned some day so grab them while you can.

If you are a fan of Mel Brooks, as I am, then buy this set immediately. The films are presented in reasonably high definition, especially considering the age of these movies, and the price cannot be beat.

Mel Brooks best movies! All in one collection and at a price that couldn't be passed up! If you are a Mel Brooks fan, this collection is for you... even though he made many more movies than just these 9!

This collection has almost every movie by the American great Mel Brooks. The only downside is you will have to purchase The Producers separately, but even so, it is still a deal for all his movies.

I already owned Blazing Saddles and Spaceballs, but the value on this collection was so good I couldn't pass it up. Will give the extra copies to friends to share the Mel Brooks love.

What an amazing collection, and for such a reasonable price. I had originally bought it for blazing saddles, space balls, and young Frankenstein but have more movies of his I really enjoy.

What can I say, it's Mel Brooks. How can it not be hysterically funny? I finally got to see Young Frankenstein for the first time ever..OMG the funniest. This is a must see DVD collection.

This collection has all of the best of Mel Brooks movies from the classics like and Young Frankenstein to Robin Hood: Men in Tights. And, for the price, you can't beat the deal!

Can’t beat the collection. Hard to find some of these movies today, especially on Blu-ray so great to see them all together. Worth purchasing if you are a Mel brooks fan.

It's Mel Brooks, the movies are brilliant. Funny how so many of Mel Brooks movies wouldn't get made today. It's a great collection and at the price it's completely worth it.

If you love, or even like, Mel Brooks, this collection is a must for your collection. In case you've been living under a rock for the last 50 years, Mel Brooks is one of the great comedians of our time, and his best works are compiled in this collection (except for "The Producers", oh how I wish it was in this collection... hence, the 4-star rating, not 5.)
