I purchased this as a gift for a friend, so I have not actually watched this. But I have seen a Blu-ray version of the Muppet Movie before. Overall I would recommend purchase of the Blu-ray disc as it is a better quality than DVD, with a sharper picture. If you don't already have the Muppet Movie on any format, I highly recommend purchasing the Blu-ray over DVD.

I adore this movie but the only thing that’s bugging me is that none of these dudes look real at all. Frogs don’t talk, and what the heck, that band isn’t even playing the instruments. can’t wait to see more, I just hope they end up using real humans for the next one because these felt goobly yoinks are weird!

Hadn't seen this in years, yet it held up amazingly and the transfer is better than version I've seen on home video or TV...keep up the great work guys and hopefully we'll get the rest of the muppet movies(treasure island, muppets from space, etc.) in Ultraviolet HD as well.

always loved the muppets - and the beginning was the best. (i even did a 20 minute presentation in my college speech class on the muppets - i got ripped off with a 'C'.) I've seen this movie so many times and was stoked when it came out on blu. i remember watching this as a kid when it came out and i can't wait to share it with my kid when he's old enough!

I found his movie in the discount bin and had never watched it. Not as entertaining as the other muppets movies but was ok.

It's the Muppets. What's not to love? First and still best of the Muppet movies. The lack of CGI makes the movie stand out even more as time goes by. There's so much fun and joy and goofiness in this movie even if your kids likely won't recognize any of the human actors in it.

Not what I remember as a child. Childhood nostalgia is lost as we age. Our children don’t appreciate as we once did.

One of my childhood favorites now available on Blu-ray. I'm sure most who love this film had this already on VHS and DVD. Unless this movie comes to UHD 4K format this is the best your ever going to see this movie. It's Perfect in every way. Great for the Family and kids.

I've been singing the songs from the original Muppet Movie to my kids since they were small but they never appreciated the context or the storyline until they watched the movie. Rainbow Connection is now a family song and finding Studebakers driving around is the newest road trip game!

This movie is an oldie,but goodie. The plot is hilarious and I couldn't stop laughing. The movie was so well done and written, and I do recommend it to everyone. I am so glad Best Buy had the movie, I purchased the item right away.

The Muppet Movie is a classic, but even better on blu-ray disc. My kids love watching this movie and I enjoy it more now since it has better picture quality and surround sound.

It’s ok but I find it not very good for small kids just some certain scenes

The Muppets have been a staple in my household since I was a kid in the 80s. And this original Muppet Movie takes me back to that time when you could see a good family friendly movie that everyone can enjoy.

If anyone out there grew up on the Muppets like I did back in the 70's then you'll want to own the first Muppet Movie. Talk about a classic in it's own right. All the stars that were in it and have long since passed away. The story line is a bit corky, but it's still cute. Something for the whole family to sit back and watch on a rainy day or night.

Yes yes yes good old school movie this brings back memories of childhood but i regress.. it is a good movie and a must have for your collection

Bought this for my Nephew for his birthday. The Muppets are always a great classic to share for generations.

I haven't opened it yet, but the 5 stars is for the movie. An absolute classic. Too bad Disney owns the Muppets property. I hate giving Disney my money.

I remember loving watching The Muppet Show when I was young and now my kids love the Muppets. Bought this for the kids and they never get tired of watching it!

This is a really good kid movie but I am not really into it

I purchased this Disney classic while it was on sale. Got the blu ray version and the digital code that came along with it. My kids have already watched it and enjoyed it with no issues!
