I purchased the portable scanner so I could carry it in my lap-top case when I traveled. The scanner worked well enough but I found the software that comes with it a bit clumsy. I returned it at almost 2 weeks past the return date and received full in store credit, Thanks Best Buy!!!!

Quieter than most, does great job of shredding. Only complaint is sometimes will 'keep running' after done shredding if used a lot at once. Opening the drawer or sliding power switch to off cures problem. Overall, was just what I was looking for.

If you want to organize you office and be able to find a document or receipt this is the tool for you. Small compact and easy to use. The perfect gift.

Got this so we could start itemizing our taxes for the upcoming year. Now the only problem we have is remembering the receipts and then remembering to scan! We use ours on several laptops/desktops, so it's portability can be of issue in that we lose the little sucker more often than I would've expected. Even picks up some of the faded and illegible receipts to read the wording. Very happy with this purchase. Would even consider the desktop version if cost were no factor!

To no longer have to translate receipt data for spreadsheet any more is awesome.

It's a great scanner. Easy to use. The key selling point for me was that it works with Quicken. However, once I started using it, I realized I could not export receipts to Quicken. I had to purchase another financial software program and start from scratch.

Scanner is good, purchased item for software which is easy to learn and update would recommend for small businesses.

Works like a charm with my Laptop. It is a pity that it still does not work with my Surface2, otherwise it would be the best travel companion.

It works just as billed. You just scan the recipt and it does all of the work. Every once in a while it will read a 0 as an 8 so you should check them, but in the whole it works great

I bought this scanner to help with expense reports. It's significantly reduced the amount of time it takes for me to produce the reports. It has the advantage of being small enough to fit into my suitcase or backpack. I love the fact that the pre-built reports include flexibility to easily find the format I want to use. I also appreciate that the automatic scan and recognition of final amount keeps me from having to manually type it. It also helps to reduce receipt wrinkles with each scan. I would definitely recommend this scanner.

This gives you clear reproductions of the original invoices and receipts that you scan. It's wonderful not to have all that paper lying around. Information is easier to find when you need it.
