A great, highly entertaining film from writer/director Shane Black. If you liked Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, you'll love this film as it is in the same vein. Plenty of action and comedy in an overly complicated, sometimes goofy, plot. Very fun film with nice video and sound quality on the blu-ray disc.

Shane Black makes some of my favorite buddy movies, and I think this one stands right up with Kiss Kiss Bang Bang as a top. Ryan Gosling in particular is great. This blu ray has great quality but skimps on the special features. How does this movie not at least have a gag reel?

This movie exceeded my expectations. While very dark in humor and a bit violent, it is FUNNY. Both main actors are great in their roles (Ryan Gosling though, he is a treat here) and the mystery in the script is interesting. Highly recommended movie, one of my favorites of the year so far.

Was a really great buddy comedy. Funny and quirky. Movie really flows well and you have a good time watching the 2 characters work the screen in their own ways. The little girl is the stand out of the film. She just radiates as a quick witted older and wiser than she should be.

Shane Black is an excellent writer and director. He has done mainstream films, other people's work, but he is at his best when he does his own material. You will like this movie. And when you are done, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to watch Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang.

Two men search for a missing woman and stumble upon a wicked political campaign. The Nice Guys is sharp, funny, and extremely entertaining. It's in the same vein as Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Shane Black is the man.

I missed this one theatrically, so I knew it was a day one purchase due to the talent involved. Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling make for great partners trying to solve a mystery in the seedy '70s, and Shane Black's writing and directing has never let me down. Highly recommended.

What was the last film/franchise to get buddy cops right? Rush Hour's the last one I can think of, so this is a welcome site. The duo's chemistry is great, Ryan Gosling has been on his A-game recently and it flows so well. Definitely worth the critical praise it got.

This is easily one of my favorite movies of the year. Writer/Director Shane Black once again expertly crafts witty and insightful characters. I'd say it's in my top three films directed by Black but he's only directed three and they all deserve many many viewings.

This was such a good throwback to 70's. Ryan Gosling is great in this. It's full of humor and action and smart story telling. It was written and directed by Shane Black who wrote the Lethal Weapon movies. If you like buddy cop type of movies you should love this.

I have always loved the Lethal Weapon movies and this one is by the writer of the first one. The Nice Guys has many of the same qualities that make the Weapon films so much fun to watch. This would make a very good film series and Russel Crowe is fun to watch.

In a year that have produced more disappointments in film than hits, The Nice Guys stands on top not because it has been a terrible year but because reminds us how a good simple story can be more entertaining than Batman and Sups beating each other for no reason.

After seeing the previews for this movie I figured it look good to see so I headed off to the local theater. Thankfully, this was one of those movies that actually lived up to the previews. If you liked the Lethal Weapon movies this will be right up your alley!

I saw them at some pieces of this movie at a friends house one time and had on this movie. I went on the Best Buy online and bought this morning before I even watch the entire thing. It is so funny. Ryan Reynolds and Russell Crowe make such a funny team.

I saw Nice Guys in theatre and liked it. A lot. I rewatched this the other day after picking it up at best buy and I have to say it gets better every time. Would have appreciated a commentary track and more bonus features but I'm glad the movie delivers.

Russell Crowe & Ryan Gosling make a great buddy film. They're set in 1980s with a twisted crime mystery with drama and comedic moments. But the real prize is watching the performance of the very young actress who played Goslings daughter. Scene stealer.

Absolutely love this movie Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling are fantastic together movies hilarious Shane black wrote and directed a really good movie and if you like this one you must watch Kiss Kiss Bang Bang also written and directed by Shane black

Went into this movie with very little expectations and was shocked at how funny it was! Ryan Gosling really shines in this comedic role, and Russell Crowes brooding presence adds to Ryan's goofy character. Very pleasantly surprised, would recommend.

This movie didn't get nearly the promotion or word of mouth that it deserves. It is a hilarious movie from beginning to end. Great performances, interesting story, great setting and just an all around great flick. Pick this up and you won't regret it.
