This movie was great, loved the actors, Russel and Ryan were awesome together, and so many great lines. When you're talking to your Doctor, tell him you have a spiral fracture of the left radius.

Got it on sale. Not quite laugh out loud funny but there were a few chuckles while watching. It doesn't need a sequel but undoubtedly they will make one. It's worth a watch if you enjoy silly humor.

The story itself is only so so, but the on screen chemistry that Gosling and Crowe have together is what makes this work. The play their parts perfectly and are absolutely hilarious/awesome throughout.

Crowe and Gosling have chemistry as totally opposite detectives trying to solve a case from 2 different directions and for 2 totally different reasons. Movie succeeds on many different levels.

So the plot is a little silly - but the chemistry and humor between the two leads makes this a great fun flick to watch. You could put these guys in just about anything and it would be watchable

Crowe and Gosling are an unlikely pair tracking down a killer. Both take on unique roles that are very out of character for them. Crowe gained weight for his role and Gosling plays a wimpy dad.

I had a difficult time grasping the story and will have to re-watch it to pickup on some of the jokes. Even so, there were plenty of funny parts to make it enjoyable. I rated it good, not great.

this movie was a surprisingly funny and good flick. it has great comedic interaction and a plot that allows you to become a detective. its a good movie to watch to get you in a good mood...

I liked that this was a movie. Some would say that this is a great camera for a beginner, however, I disagree. So pick this one up today and finally see the origin story of Robocop 2.

This is a classic shane black movie and you can really see his style in it. From kiss kiss bang bang to now this shane black is a very good director and it shows. Good acting from the 2 leads

I didn't see this in theaters, wanted to just never got to it. I love Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe, they did really well in this together, funny, pretty good action and a decent story

This movie could have went really bad, but the actors did great and the story was well written. I was very happy with this movie. It blew away my reservations to spending the money on it.

Mr. Black has created an awesome throw back buddy comedy. The story is engaging, the characters are awesome and the jokes are plentiful. Everyone brought their A game and it shows.

Not as strong as director/writer Shane Black's Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, but highly enjoyable in terms of the writing, acting and directing. KKBB is a classic, this is a 1-2 view movie.

This was a very good comedy detective movie, I would recommend this to anyone. I think they will come out with a sequel to this movie, I hope so the two actors worked good together.

Actually enjoyed this movie very much. Maybe not a great movie, but Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling were an interesting pair. Overall movie was quite well done. Enjoyable, popcorn flick.

I was pleasantly surprised with this movie. It had a good amount of action and a lot of comedy in it that i was not expecting. Looked great on Blu ray and came with a digital copy.

This was an excellent movie and I would recommend it to anyone. I think that they are going to do a sequel to this movie. They got the 70's vibe down pat in this privet eye movie.

One of the best comedies to come out last year. It's smart 70's throw back detective style, not to mention the brilliant acting and directing make for a fun movie.
