Old school feel with linear gameplay but beautiful graphics and a great storyline. This is an easy platinum as well.

This is a very different and wordy game. The graphics and cinematics are definitely boundary pushing, but the story is just okay and not gripping as I thought it would be. The inspecting of things holds no value but to earn a trophy, but nonetheless, I enjoyed the game. If they would have made a Gears of War clone with this dressing, it would have been perfect. It gets a 4 star up from a 3 due to the new IP that is not a repeat of past games and it looks so good :)

This is truly a next gen console game. Nothing rivals it's textures, sound and mapping. It's amazing. I do however wish they put the same ingenuity and heart into the game play itself. There is nothing new from this view and I'd even go so far to say, (and this may be bias because ofhigh expectations) that it's more repetitive but les fun than their Gods of War series. Definitely worth getting and playing through one or twice, but I expected more.

Only due to it's length, the rest of the game is great. While playing it I felt like I was watching a 5-6 hrs movie. The game is amazing visually and offers a good challenge to players that are used to to just blazing through shooters. You have to be smart about cover and where enemies are. The biggest things missing are a longer story and a well built multiplayer. Like I said a good rental but not worth the full $60 price tag.

Amazing Graphics and cinematic gameplay! Guns are beautiful! Gameplay is smooth. Story Mode leaves you wanting more after every mission. Only 5 hours long though! That's why it falls short. This is a MUST play hands down. This is a great exclusive and worth buying if on sale. Again not worth full retail $60 because it's so short. Dont let that be you're decision maker though because you're missing out on a great game.

Like I said this game has an excellent story line,but that's about it.The game was given 3 stars due to how short the story mode was and.The fact that there was no online mode,I completed the game in about 10 hours.So I was a little disappointed.Also the graphics are fantastic!

1886 The Order is a game that has excellent graphics and looks so good that you feel like you are playing a movie. The gameplay however is not very compelling. The gameplay in this game reminded me of Heavy Rain with fewer items in the environment to interact with. The star of this game is the environment. I thoroughly enjoyed walking around London set in the Victorian era and seeing how people lived back then.

For what ever reason this game is getting a lot of heat for what it is. I just wanna state that none of it was necessary. Everyone like to state that the graphics are Gorgeous which they are but story is what drives it from beginning to end. The gameplay is very solid and fun, sure it doesn't have multiplayer but not every game needs to. So In the end it was a great game, great story line, great graphics.

The Order : 1886 by far has the best graphics on the PS4 to date. The story is compelling and the characters are unforgettable. This game is filled with twists and turns along the way to keep you guessing. Any fan of 3rd person cover shooters will love this game. The only thing this game is lacking is multiplayer but even despite the lack of online play it is still a must have for any Playstation owner.

Beatable in only 6 hours, the game is easily beatable in a couple of sittings. The gameplay, the story, the characters are nothing more than average. That being said, the graphics are incredible, and the use of a cinematic aspect ratio truly makes the game engaging. If you scale back your recommendations, the game is well worth playing through. (Although not at all worth the full retail of $60)

This game is effectively an interactive movie played as a third person shooter - if you enjoy that then this game offers a well written story and probably the best looking graphics ever seen on a console (likely thanks to its use of a forward renderer enabling excellent anti aliasing). It took me around 9 hours to complete the campaign - I took in the sights and explored as much as I could.

First off, I'm giving it such a high score due to the fact I only paid 20 for it. For full price, the content isn't justified since the game is pretty short. But the graphics are fantastic and I actually enjoyed the weapons and gameplay. Very focused on the story though, which has great performances but is a bit lackluster in the end. On sale, this game is well worth checking out.

Very cinematic but amazing graphics. Short game length but entertaining story.

Best graphics I have ever seen in a game. The gameplay is fun, but interaction with your surroundings is very limited. The game play/story itself is much shorter then all average games these days. You can complete this game in a weekend if you get after it. I still found the game very fun and as stated the graphics are great. Try it for yourself don't trust all the negative reviews.

The game has amazing visuals and the story is interesting but leaves many questions. The game play is dull. It's a clone of Gear Of War but with worth mechanics. The game is pretty much a walking cinematic with about 5 hours game play and 3 hours of videos.

After reading all of the negative reviews that focused on the short length of the game I was unsure about making this purchase. Until I realized that I didn't really care what some reviewer I did not know had to say. Yes there are many long, albeit high quality, videos that you cannot skip. This can be quite infuriating at times. This is not an open world game. It follows a specified story that you have to play through. You cannot skip parts of the game just because you can't seem to get past a certain gunfight. This can be extremely annoying when you have tried 10 times and still can't seem to succeed. That being said, the graphics are great, gameplay is fun and challenging. I would definitely recommend this as a rental or purchase, play, trade-in when you are done. No online play, no multiplayer, no reason to replay this game from the beginning.

This is kind of a double edged review. I'm torn between how great the Storyline and graphics were, and how it reminded me so much of Gears of War. Without any spoilers, was a fun 8 hour game on Hardest difficulty. Nothing was beyond the concept of "shoot it in the face". I felt like I was playing a New Gen version of Gears, which isn't a bad thing, I rather liked the Gears series. Characters moved similar, weapons weren't ultra unrealistic. The story line was great. Sucked you in, gave detail that made you see the world they were in, had a few moments of "you're voice is annoying", but was overall very good. Downside - How short it was. Without giving spoilers, when I found out that I beat the game in 8 hrs, yes there's a cliff hanger ending, I just traded it in. Didn't really seem worth keeping if it was over that fast.

I like this game and it has a great story and awesome graphics. My main complaint is character control. Plainly, I just wish the character controlled better. Movement seems somewhat limited and slow at times and some things that seem to be potential "cover" aren't and are useless graphics fill. Overall good game to pass some time. Good for a weekend rental.

Graphics are great, real pretty game. Short, 10 hours to beat it, maybe another 10 hours to complete. Very Linear level design, it's a funnel to the end of the level with the one area to the left with the collectable. Reminiscent of PS2 games or games from several generations ago, lots of cut scenes. QTE or Quick tim events are prevelant. Your first encounter with a werewolf if also the final boss battle recycled, which is lame.

Great story line. Excellent graphics. Lacks multiplayer option.
