In addition to Rudolph and Frosty, are The Little Drummer Boy, The Cricket on the Hearth, and the true story of Santa Claus. Most are in stop-action animation with delightful music to accompany the story. The Little Drummer Boy is especially interesting as I had not viewed this on television. The message of giving and kindness is especially moving and important for the holiday season.

Rankin Bass Christmas favorites in one collection! AS a child, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, and Fosty The Snowman were three or my favorites (in that order). Now I'm a gradpa and I still love these classics. The Little Drummer Boy is also fantastic, though a bit more somber in tone than the others. As far as Cricket On The Hearth goes, please skip that one. Dark, dumb and agonizingly slow. The cricket claims to be lucky but the opposite is true. Bad things happen to anyone that meets this cricket. I'm talking blindness, job loss, homelessness, death (characters actually get shot!!!), and more. Never show this so-called "holiday favorite" to a child. If not for this Cricket film, I would get the collection 5 stars.

I don't know if I need to review this, however, if you haven't seen these classic Christmas tales, then you should definitely give this set a try. It's inexpensive and well worth the money. The only thing better would've been if Twas the night before Christmas was included.

That movie is absolutely incredible! I remember watching it countless times as a child and it has since become one of my all-time favorite films. The story, characters, and overall production are simply amazing and I never tire of experiencing it again and again.

This is a dvd that has movie classics. I have watched all of the shows on the DVD and they are great! They may even come out before Christmas sometimes!

What is there to say about this set, besides that I have enjoyed watching this ever since I was a little kid back in the 80's. I love the fact that you can still watch this and get that feeling of it being made a long time back, but now with a nicer crisper image with it being Blu-Ray. If you want something for your kids or grandkids to enjoy, I would definitely make this purchase.

Love the old classics. They are hard to find streaming for free. Glad I can watch when I want.

These movies play on network tv every year, but try to play on demand when you want, you might be outta luck. But not with this! Just make sure you get the blu-ray version, it’s only a couple bucks more than the DVD

This was purchased finally because it was a great deal and we had a week long Christmas movies at work and I supplied the 5 foot by 9 foot screen and projector and the movies as well. It was good fun.

You can't beat these classic Christmas films on Blu-ray

The originals are finally on blu-ray and ready for family enjoyment during the Christmas season. They've all got nifty special features, look crisp on a 4k tv and sound great. A definite must have!
