Outstanding collection of all 5 movies! Each movie has bonus material relevant to that particular movie, plus there's another disc of overall bonus matetial-all ckntained in a beautiful sleevecase booklet that features original artwork and vintage photos. The collectible sphere is an exact-size replica of the original prop and is simple to assemble; it even comes with a neat little stand. Everything is contained in a nice box that's full of original artwork too, making it collectible as well. The only cons are: (1) the contents are tightly packed and just a bit difficult to remove, and (2) the booklet could be bound better (mine came apart). But for all you get, THIS is the collection of the franchise to have.

At this point, if you are lucky enough to find one, buy it! The bonus features are actually interesting. I was close to giving it 4 stars only because the sphere itself is not perfect. The seamline is easily visible where they did whatever they did to try to hide it. It almost appears as a flat band around the entire sphere. But since I'm not even displaying mine, I'm good with it. I Just wanted the discs!

So excite to get and greatly disappointed to open box and see a damaged item. One side badly damaged,seal broken like it had been opened, and box ripped inside. This is a collector item! box condition is very important. Very disappointed that best buy would send a product out in this condition. Called customer service resending item.

I wasn’t able to get the first Phantasm box set that was released when the fifth film came out, but I was able to pick up this beauty on release day. Film-wise you get the Bad Robot remastered version of Phantasm with more special features than the stand-alone remastered blu-Ray. Also a newly remastered version of Phantasm 2 with additional gore that had to be cut originally to avoid an x-rating. I don’t have the Scream Factory Phantasm 2, so I can’t compare but this is the first time the additional gore scenes have been shown. Also included are the third film, part 4 Oblivion and the final film Ravager as well as a bonus disc that focuses mainly on Ravager. For packaging, the discs are packed into a nice digibook with glossy pages. I would have preferred individual slip cases or plastic holders to the cardboard sleeves but the digibook is still nice. The down side is that the discs are just black with the film titles on them. The inside covers have the original poster art for each film but the seam runs right through part 3 Lord of the Dead, so that’s a bit of a con compared to Well Go’s previous box set that had individual slip cases with reversible cover art. The big draw though is the inclusion of a screen accurate scale ball (a clear stand and attachable spikes are included in the box). It is packaged in some impressive artwork of the Tall Man, Reggie, Mike, Jody and the Cuda with rose colored stained glass illustrations. The entire box set is designed to look like a mausoleum or marble urn down to the rivets on the side of the digibook making it look like a name plate. Overall this or the previous set Well Go put out are the best option for franchise fans. I would have loved the full sized poster from the last Well Go box set but getting a sphere replica and new cut of part 2 in its place is awesome.

This phantasm gifts it has all five movies and a replica killer sphere If you’re a fan of the tall Man, you need to pick this up. It is well worth the price for any phantasm fan.

This box set was not supposed to be available yet when I ordered it. Got it for my fiancé and he’s in a horror movie FB group where no one else was able to get this. Now there’s a set available that they are all ordering for double the price with no sphere! This was a major score. The sphere is an awesome bonus!

Picture quality and new audio for Phantasm (the first movie) are incredible and picture quality for the rest of the films are also fantastic. If you are a Phantasm Phan you NEED to purchase this set. Now if I can only get my hands on a set with the Black colored box.

This set is amazing. Restored parts 1 and 2 and gave the first a killer Atmos soundtrack and a directors cut for part 2

The Phantasm series seems to have fallen through the cracks. But this set has a newly remastered Phantasm II! It looks fantastic and the special features are all fantastic! Well Go really worked some magic!

Well Go USA Entertainment releases all 5 Phantasm films in one set, looking superb in HD, a definite upgrade from the various previous DVD releases. The first and third films from(now defunct) Anchor Bay in 2007, the fourth originally from MGM, then years later again from Anchor Bay, while the second one was from Universal in 2009, then from Scream Factory in 2013, while the fifth one is exclusively Well Go. All previous extras are ported over here, plus many new ones. Exclusively to this set is a replica of a silver sphere used in all five films, coming in a medium size box, with clear plastic window on front, with stand and two blades beneath, with the slits to insert them. The box is opened from the top, where you will see an image of the '71 Barracuda muscle car. You'll have to lift the whole thing out to get to the Blu-ray case, which is on the bottom, but nicely packaged in embossed sleeves, with a bonus disc included with a bunch of other features. Spanning the years 1979-2016, these five films(starring Reggie Bannister, Michael Baldwin, Bill Thornbury, and Angus Scrimm as the Tall Man) were significant cult favorites, particularly the first, telling one long story that may or not be really happening, or multiple timelines at work? Created and directed(except the last, which he oversaw) by Don Coscarelli, fans, or "Phans" will certainly want this unique package.

The new scan of part 2 is worth the price of purchase alone! This already great box set got better!!! If you can find it grab it, well worth it!!!

new 4k transfer for phantasm II is a big draw some new features as well and the ball fits nice on the shelf. can be hard to find I order quickly.

Been waiting on a box set like this truly epic to have a sphere and all the movies and even a Dolby Atmos track what else could a fan ask for..

Didn’t get a chance to get the last box set of this series that came out but glad I didn’t and got this one. Best box set of the series!!

Best Buy did a great job with my packaging and the box arrived in mint condition via mail. I had seen at my local Best Buy a box that was smashed on the bottom due to customers playing with it as it's not a sturdy box. I was skeptical initially but I went for it and am very happy that I did. The set is great!!!! Now, let me let you in on a secret....If you have a bad box or a good one did you know you can get an even better box???? On the official Phactory website you can get just the box and have it signed as well from Don Coscarelli for a whole 19 bucks?!?! The new box also removes the plastic window so your ball can punch outside the box with forks enabled. That's a steal and a great addition to an already awesome set!!!!!
