The definitive set!
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed. At this point, if you are lucky enough to find one, buy it! The bonus features are actually interesting. I was close to giving it 4 stars only because the sphere itself is not perfect. The seamline is easily visible where they did whatever they did to try to hide it. It almost appears as a flat band around the entire sphere. But since I'm not even displaying mine, I'm good with it. I Just wanted the discs!
I would recommend this to a friendRating 5 out of 5 stars with 1 review

Box in horrible condition
|Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. So excite to get and greatly disappointed to open box and see a damaged item. One side badly damaged, seal broken like it had been opened, and box ripped inside. This is a collector item! box condition is very important. Very disappointed that best buy would send a product out in this condition. Called customer service resending item.

A great product and experience from Best Buy mail
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendBest Buy did a great job with my packaging and the box arrived in mint condition via mail. I had seen at my local Best Buy a box that was smashed on the bottom due to customers playing with it as it's not a sturdy box. I was skeptical initially but I went for it and am very happy that I did. The set is great!!!! Now, let me let you in on a secret....If you have a bad box or a good one did you know you can get an even better box???? On the official Phactory website you can get just the box and have it signed as well from Don Coscarelli for a whole 19 bucks?!?! The new box also removes the plastic window so your ball can punch outside the box with forks enabled. That's a steal and a great addition to an already awesome set!!!!!

It’s never over...A great collection for fans
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendI wasn’t able to get the first Phantasm box set that was released when the fifth film came out, but I was able to pick up this beauty on release day. Film-wise you get the Bad Robot remastered version of Phantasm with more special features than the stand-alone remastered blu-Ray. Also a newly remastered version of Phantasm 2 with additional gore that had to be cut originally to avoid an x-rating. I don’t have the Scream Factory Phantasm 2, so I can’t compare but this is the first time the additional gore scenes have been shown. Also included are the third film, part 4 Oblivion and the final film Ravager as well as a bonus disc that focuses mainly on Ravager. For packaging, the discs are packed into a nice digibook with glossy pages. I would have preferred individual slip cases or plastic holders to the cardboard sleeves but the digibook is still nice. The down side is that the discs are just black with the film titles on them. The inside covers have the original poster art for each film but the seam runs right through part 3 Lord of the Dead, so that’s a bit of a con compared to Well Go’s previous box set that had individual slip cases with reversible cover art. The big draw though is the inclusion of a screen accurate scale ball (a clear stand and attachable spikes are included in the box). It is packaged in some impressive artwork of the Tall Man, Reggie, Mike, Jody and the Cuda with rose colored stained glass illustrations. The entire box set is designed to look like a mausoleum or marble urn down to the rivets on the side of the digibook making it look like a name plate. Overall this or the previous set Well Go put out are the best option for franchise fans. I would have loved the full sized poster from the last Well Go box set but getting a sphere replica and new cut of part 2 in its place is awesome.

Excellent set for Phantasm Fans!
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendThese new "sphere collection" from Well Go USA is a great set of all five films in the Phantasm series presented on Blu-ray and comes with a prop-replica of the "killer spheres" from the films! The prop itself is really nice and comes with a stand for display. The films are all housed in "book-style" packaging. Each film gets their own disc, plus an extra disc filled with bonus features and content. One of the highlights of this set is the inclusion of a new remaster of Phantasm 2, which you can only get in this set as of this writing. (not sold seperatley) If you are a fan of this film series and don't own any of these already, this is a must own. Plus he inclusion of the prop sphere is really cool!

Fantastic Box Set
|Posted .Owned for 1 year when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendDespite some flimsy packaging, this box set is great. It has all five movies plus a bonus disc, and a new remastered version of Phantasm 2. All the full size sphere is just awesome

great set for Phantasm fans
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendIf you have the previous box set, there might not be enough here to upgrade. You're no longer getting a booklet & a poster, but you' re gaining a cool sphere replica (it's plastic, but the quality is very good) & a new scan for Phantasm II. It will be up to you to decide if things like that are worth it to you. :) Only downsides for me is the construction of the outer cardboard set (wish it was more solid) and the book/paper sleeve holders for the discs. The previous set had all the movies in separate slim cases.
Q: QuestionWhere is the Phantasm II (Director's Cut) never-before-seen X-rated sphere/gore sequence ? It's not in my set. Is it the scene with the sphere in the bonus material labeled: Additional scenes from the original work print cut ?
Asked by markt.
- A:Answer The additional footage is actually in the film where the first sentinel sphere hits the priest in the head. It is Incorporated so you would never know it was initially cut out. There are a couple of additional pieces when the tall man meets his demise but the main scene to look out for is the priest versus the sentinel sphere in the mortuary hallway

Q: QuestionDoes anybody know where the "Director's Cut" version of Phantasm II is ? My set appears not to have one. I very recently purchased the Phantasm Sphere Collection. Where is the Phantasm II (Director's Cut) never-before-seen X-rated sphere/gore sequence ?
Asked by markt.
- A:Answer Hi Markt, I am a long time fan of the Phantasm series and I also purchased this set. The disc for Phantasm II is the actual Director’s Cut version of the film as it contains the never before extended sphere scene that includes the Priest. It is only a few seconds of extra gore coming from the sphere that was omitted in earlier cuts of the film. I hope this helped answered your question. Enjoy the set!

Q: QuestionDoes this box set include codes for digital downloads of the blu-rays?
Asked by Cuda.
- A:Answer No I don't recall seeing one, but the sphere is metal. Great set, with bonus disc. Same as the limited well go set with extra bonus content.
