One of my absolute favorites w Don Knotts and Tim Conway. They are hilarious in this murder spoof!!

Don Knotts is superb. Great comedy for the entire family.

When I found out that my niece had never watched this movie I had to purchase it. It is a classic comedy from the 80’s. Some parts could be considered “insensitive” but the movie still seems to make it work. The insensitive parts are actually not that bad if you keep in mind that it was made in the early 80’s & that the two main characters were genuinely good people.

Several people had talked about Private Eyes being one of the films shot at Biltmore Estate and I found this movie had more footage at Biltmore than many of the other movies shot there that I have seen. It is what I call stupid comedy, but when you just want to sit and laugh at Don Knotts and Tim Conway it hits the spot or if you have ever been to Biltmore and can say I recognize that.

The film stars Don Knotts as Inspector Winship and Tim Conway as Dr. Tart. It's a little scary, not for the faint of heart. All the characters are weird and some are very funny. So you should buy this movie, it's worth the dollars.

This movie was one of my favorites growing up. It didn't age incredibly well, but I watch it because I have such a great history with it. I was disappointed when I saw that the DVD version was cropped to 4:3. This Blu Ray version fixed that. You can now enjoy this movie in full 16:9 framing, the way it was meant to be seen.
