I think every family in America can relate to the characters in this movie in some way. Very funny movie that can be watched over and over.

Bought it for my mom as a present for Christmas and she loved it

I think all married couples can watch this and think I can see this happening. I had a friend who made this a Christmas movie tradition and told me to watch it. I did and I have tried to repeat the same tradition. I finally bought it, instead of searching for it.

Christmas movie about a cat burgler who goes to a small town to do some stealing. But things go south for him real quick when he trips the alarm on a house and the sheriff puts the town on lockdown until he finds a suspect. Laugh out loud funny.

This movie has always been a tradition to watch during the holidays. It’s hilarious and helps you realize that you aren’t the only one with a crazy family. Too bad Denis Leary can’t be there in person to play Dr. Wong! It’s a must watch for all adults!

Best Christmas movie we watch this every year on Christmas with the whole family

This is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. The characters are great and the movie is outstanding start to finish. I highly recommend that everyone see this movie!

This movie just made me laugh - it is so full of petty but so human arguing and of all players/roles, the burglar is the mediator!! How absurd and so funny!

I LOVE DENNIS LEARY IN THIS MOVIE. I LOVE THE HUMOR FROM ALL OF THE CHARATERS IN THE MOVIE.

The movie is an old one but in a strange way it was funny. Gotta have that sense of humor.

The Ref is probably one of my favorite Christmas movies of all time, sure it's not exactly family friendly, but it's got a good heart and a drunken Santa Claus, so that's just special. It's sort of an acquired taste, but once you get to know it, it's pretty funny. Denis Leary is pretty good, Kevin Spacey is Kevin Spacey, Christine Baranski is good. Really, most of the cast does well, right from the opening credits it feels like a good Christmas movie...sure there's some thievery and blackmail...But there's also a lt of cheer and good will...sort of.

This is my favorite holiday movie! Dennis Leary's character, after a burglery attempt goes horribly wrong, hasn't a clue what he's getting himself into when he decides to hold this completely dysfunctional, bickering family hostage on Christmas. Non stop laughs throughout the entire movie. "Your husband's not dead lady, he's hiding!"

The perfect holiday film for every dysfunctional family. If you're a Dennis Leary and/or Kevin Spacey fan, then enjoy the laughs and the great writing.

This is movie is very funny. I'm sure all the swearing would make some people blush, but, it added to the overall humor of the movie for me.
