I had only heard two songs from this album before purchasing it at Best Buy. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of songs, musicianship and recording; it really very good! The singer is not always my favorite, but he certainly puts lots of feeling into his performances! The musicianship is excellent throughout, and the classical and classic rock influences are tasteful and fun (think Queen)!

Do you like your lyrics to mean something deep, show things in a different light? Or do you want to just rock out to some awesome music? Either way, this band has you covered. I prefer bands that play heavy music well while touching on important topics in their lyrics, and that's why I'm a big fan of Muse. Check it out!

Conceptual albums may be a thing of the past but Muse try their best to bring it back into style. This time I hear the faint sounds of Queen worming their way into their songs. Not one single track comes to mind as the best. Better to be listened to straight through from start to finish, if you have the patience.

I had only heard a couple of Muse songs on the radio before purchasing this CD (which I liked), so I took a chance since it was only $5.99. I love it! It's a great combination of modern and progressive rock elements, bringing to mind Queen and Rush at times. Good stuff!

Always been a fan of Muse, I didn't know them from the beginning but since I discovered them little by little I have been collecting their albums. Love the price and I am closer to getting them all.

Muse has continued to get better with each album IMO. The Resistance is a great collection of songs with many of them being very memorable. A must have for the collection.

Muse is a dramatic band and this album has a few good songs. Unless you can get it for $5, just buy the singles.
