I like what the movie was teaching on, but it was very slow to me. It took a minute to put together all the scene breaks too. At the end, I understood what they were saying, but if you don't know any word of the bible lessons, you probably wouldn't get it.

A movie based on a book by the same name. It's about A journey and self exploration for a man, grieving for his murdered daughter. Along this journey he struggles with grief, life, and his belief and trust in God.

3 stars is for Best Buy not the movie that was not sent the first time... The movie once it was sent and I watched it ..is one of the best movies I have ever seen...if you are not moved by this story nothing will.

I found myself engrossed in this movie. Although I found it to be slow moving and very sad I was captivated by the underlying message. Why does God let bad things happen...a decent movie but get out the tissues

Disappointed with this DVD purchase. The Blu-ray skipped about 7 times while watching. I almost wasn’t going to order because of the reviews with the same complaint from other stores. Thought because I was purchasing it from Best Buy It wouldn’t skip but it does. :(

Mixed up theology, but had one area of noteworthy excellence in the judgement seat explanation. I wish the author would have kept the entire movie content and facts biblically accurate rather than mixing it up to make a beautiful story. The truth doesn't have to be altered and God certainly doesn't want man to mess with the truth which includes all the facts, no matter how minor or beautifully deviant they may be...

My freezer died and food was beginning to unthaw. No options because BestBiuy was only vendor with on site merchandise.

I heard some good reviews, and decided to buy the movie. There were some parts that were a little slow.

It was a little slow in the beginning but overall was good. Can’t wait for the third sequel .

Good uplifting movie. I bought it as a gift for someone else. Not really my type of movie.

The Shack is not what I thought it was going to be. At the end there was no conclusion.

The story is powerful but the theology behind it is flawed. Doesn’t follow God’s Word.
