What a beautiful movie, very sentimental, I watched it recently a month after I lost my mother, it really got to me. Make sure you have a handkerchief or Kleenex handy, enjoy. It does have religious tones so beware if you don't like these type of movies, but it is a wonderful movie.

FOR anyone who wants..or needs...a challenge to their routine daily humdrum life, THIS is the movie to GET AWAKE!!! WE all need more movies like this to watch..& learn from!!! An EXCELLENT walk-in to the ways & words we ALL rarely take the times to stand UP to!

The Shack is one in a lifetime movie that goes to the heart of the cruelty in humanity. How can we move forward, forgive and stop blaming ourselves and God for the devastation of events in our lives. It is moving, healing and brings hope in a world of evil. It is eye opening.

This is one of the kind of movies make you reflect about life most in this days, where everyone is lost, included myself. It was so impressed about the entire story and the message is telling you.

A touching and moving story of healing and recovery in the midst of incredible loss and deep grief. A cathartic episode of one man's journey to a heavenly realm which opens his eyes and enables him to face his overwhelming hurt while forgiving those who caused it.

This movie is amazing. to many it is confusing. an i have to admit it was confusing to me at first. but after truly thinking back on it. it is actually easy to understand. It is a movie that truly shows you what the Father, the son and holy spirit are.

For those who are interested in a Christian themed movie, this one is a cut above others. Good acting, good story, and one that the whole family can enjoy. After renting and viewing The Shack, I bought a copy as a birthday gift for a relative thinking the film would provide some moral and spiritual values that are often missing in contemporary entertainment. What I also liked about The Shack is that it wasn't overbearing. The story unfolded at a good pace.

Great movie and brings the Trinity to life! Very spot on in helping people understand why God allows "bad" things happen to good people. Also demonstrates how "all things work together for the good ". Remember... All means all, and that's all,all means.

I have read the book several times and never watched the movie. The movie followed the book and I was not disappointed. I recommend this movie to be added to anyone's home library.

If you are a Born Again Christian, this movie is a must. Powerful, touching, and a great message. Sam Worthington was spectacular, and in my opinion one of the most underrated actors in movies today. It's a tear jerker and a great "date-night" movie.

This is a great movie, I think. This is a movie about faith. It has actors in surprising roles. The lead character is dealing with loss and grief and it is handled in a way that is kind of different and wonderful. I am glad I got to see this movie.

This movie follows the book which is refreshing because so many movies don't. This movie has great messages in it and also make you think. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good spiritual movie with great messages.

Bought this movie for my wife who had seen it in the theatre. I saw the previews before the release and thought it might not be too bad. The message in the story is fantastic. A definite heart wrencher and uplifting end. See it and feel renewed.

This movie really captivates what the original author wrote in the book, something that normally gets twisted. Of course there are some areas I wish the spent more time on from the book, but over well they really brought it to life!!

I’m new to Christian based movies and I’m absolutely blown away by this flick!! I was so touched emotionally and spiritually that I decided to further my knowledge in my own religion. Thank you sir/ma’am for such an eye opener of a flick.

Excellent movie. Acting was well done. The storyline was very good and the characters in the movie were cleverly done. Watch it with an open mind and listen to the dialogue. It explains what and why you're seeing what you're seeing.

I had never heard of the book, so my expectations of the movie were practically nothing until I saw it. It is a very good spiritual movie that is sad but uplifting at the same time. Would definitely recommend watching this.

This movie has a great depiction of the Trinity and the love that they have for all of humanity. A must see to understand the nature of the Godhead, although some of the content is too mature for young children.

It has been a long time since I read the book. The movie was very interesting and I am planning to get the book and do a re-read. Then I will watch the movie again. At that time, I'm sure that I could write an even better review.

Movie brings alive some complex theology presented in the book of the same name. An intriguing movie especially for those who have not read the book pre-eminent. The three characters depicted God do a great job in their roles.
