It's hard to translate great books into film. The Shack does about as good a job that can be done and still give the essence of the book. Great watch for anyone who may feel they are on their own.

For some of the things that we see and live today, this is the movie to have. There is hope, love, faith and understanding that there are greater forces at work in our lives to make things better.

First experience with this movie was a CD in the car. Saw it since on TV and decided to purchase my own copy. A good movie to own.

This drama is about a couple who lose their youngest daughter. From there is goes to an unexpected direction. And that is what makes this movie excellent and different. The acting is great!

Wow, this movie moved me to tears from beginning to end in such a good way as it emphasized the meaning of forgiveness and the character of GOD and His desire for a relationship with us.

After reading the book I wanted to see the movie and the DVD provided that opportunity. This is a fresh new look at an old concept of God. The movie is a good adaptation of the book.

This movie takes on a number of theological topics in a serious way. It provides thoughtful answers to the problems of: evil, forgiveness and the meaning of Christian salvation.

Fairly close to the book but they leave out the last chapter. This show will make you cry but not in the way that movies normally do. Just plan to be a bit drained after watching it.
