Off To A Good Start

Not the Shannara I read

I purchased this series without seeing it because I grew up reading Terry Brook's books. This is not what I had envisioned from the novels - it was too juvenile and tailored more to teenagers rather than to all audiences.

Almost as good as the books

Backward Technology

However, the fact that when it comes to TV series only DVD's are released in the US while blu-rays are released in other parts of the world it is very frustrating. After all, 4K is out now, and while I don't expect that, DVD's are a backward step from blu-rays.

Swords and magic
