Truly love the the simpsons, so crystal clear on Blu-ray, just wish Fox would include Digital with Blu-ray, I know it's a cash cow but wow series are expensive and you have around 30 of them.

Still manages to make us all laugh despite it becoming PC in its later years.

Another great Simpsons series. One to watch with the whole family.

Great show some seasons are terrible but this one is great

I love The Simpsons! I have always been a fan since I was young and some of these episodes stuck with me through the years. Of course this season isn't as good as the old ones but I did enjoy it more than the previous two seasons. My biggest complaint is the terrible cases they ship these out in. The discs were already scratched when I took them out of their slips. Normally you would think with all the complaining over the years they would have done something about it but yet again we get another season released with these terrible cases that don't protect the discs. If I wasn't such a fan of The Simpsons I would not buy these sets.

The first 10 years of the Simpsons were great shows and so I have collected their season sets ever since those have come out. But as the years went on, so did the quality of the programming. I continue to buy these because I want to get all of the collection but these episodes are not as good as the earlier years. The discs play well and everything works great.

Nearly every single episode of season 17 is absolutely hilarious. The Simpsons have a rich history of incredible writers, this season highlights the remarkable talents of these comedic geniuses from start to finish. Highly recommended. Now, if we can only get Best Buy to carry more seasons in store.

This season is full of the usual antics but it throws in amazing cultural surprises from operas to Italian villages. This is the season to let the kids watch; as even if they do not catch the hilarious parodies now, they will as they age and they will have a deeper respect and understanding of the original pieces.

14.99 22 Simpson episodes?! Yes please! Packaging is superb looking but disks are in a cardboard sleeve. Picture is good especially for DVD. Content is subject to each individual since there are plenty of arguments when the show went down hill. I personally think it's a fantastic value!

I don't find The Simpsons nearly as funny as Family Guy, but that's not a knock, really. The Simpsons is geared a little less toward comedy and more toward social commentary. It's quite incredible how long they have been able to keep the show so popular and fresh after this many seasons.

This season was actually purchased for my daughter - who loves the show as much as I do. Still wildly inventive and hilariously funny (but with a POV - skewed or not) after all these years - hey - if you've got seasons 1 through 16, why wouldn't you add #17 to the list? Can't miss fun.

The glory years of THE SIMPSONS might be behind it, but it's still making us laugh almost two decades in. This season, the whole town of Springfield is back, joined by the malevolently clumsy (or clumsily malevolent) Sideshow Bob!

Been a Simpsons fan since the 80's. This season lives up to the expectations! As always special features are great and commentary on every episode is fantastic. I recommend this show to any and all. Always fun to watch these episodes again.

The Simpsons Season 17 DVD is really amazing. The bonus features are amazing and the episode guide inside is a Playbill, and it is really cool! Season 17 is just another great season from the creators of the groundbreaking record lasting show.

It's the Simpsons! Need I say more - the longest running comedy in TV history and still awesome. Unfortunately, season 17 is still low-def, but it's still worth getting the bluray because there are fewer disks and they are more rugged. Awesome!

Not my favorite of seasons (that honor goes to Season 9, followed by Season 11), but still a great season of the best show in television. I absolutely love the crazy antics of Homer laden over the satire of history and modern day.

Simpsons is one of the best shows out there. Has great episodes with immense rewatch ability. While not as great as the golden years there is still a lot to love in this season and has some good extras as well.

I have every season that has come out so far and they are all amazing. I have all of the collectible head packing since they started with season 6. Highly recommend for an collector or fan of The Simpsons.
