Decent box set of episodes that pass the time on a long drive.

Always loved the Simpsons and this has really great episodes. Too funny!

Season 17 isn't bad, just underwhelming compared to the first half dozen years of the show. Nice packaging features a colorful fold-out canvas of the cast and a slick episode guide. Not a bad way to kill time between "real" movies and sitcoms.

This series has gone so... far over the top its not even close it the 89' original season.

With owning all released The Simpsons seasons, with the exception of season 20, I've got to say this is one of my least favorite releases. The first few seasons were released with a fold out design with plastic disc holders (Which was great), the new few seasons were released with stacking plastic disc holders (which was OK)- and then season 11 went downhill. The releases since then have had great artwork and design yes, but the disc holders are ridiculous! There are just little slits in the fold out 'cardboard' casing to put the discs in. It's aggravating to get the discs out of the casing. Luckily I read on another review for a previous season to put the discs in a paper sleeve before putting them back in the casing. Granted to make it wide enough to fit in there, you have to very carefully sort of rip at the slits to widen it enough so do so at your own risk. As always the discs are great. They are packed with commentary on every episode, plenty of behind the scenes sorts, deleted scenes, and my favorite bonus feature- the episode "The Man Who Grew Too Much" (S25E13). I believe it's a must have for a Simpson fan's DVD collection, even though the casing is hard to deal with.

The Simpsons is a great show and this season is no exception. Bear in mind, however, that this is the last currently planned DVD release for the show. They want us to purchase some kind of on demand app for Simpsons episodes, instead. Call me a purist, but that doesn't sound like the best thing for the fans. Maybe if we show our support buying these DVD sets, FOX will change their minds about that!

Simpson seasons NEVER disappoint, and this one is no exception! Love the whole "molded head' version #I know some folks don't like that they don't fit on the shelf# - these are GREAT collectibles and create great memories. Can't go wrong with this one!

The episodes are not great. But the picture looks beautiful. I am still holding out hope for future seasons being released only for the bonus features. The bonus features are great. The commentaries alone show that the creators really care about the show

When I Brought This The Product Is Good To Watch The Simpsons On DVD But I Changed My Mind Because I Want To Get The Bulray Version And Didn't Really Followed Up Form The 1 Season So I Have To Start From The Beginning To Buy The 1 To Present.

Say what you will about declining quality for The Simpsons, it remained funny and heartfelt right through season 17. Great buy.
