Great movie. This was a gift to go along with the books for a pre-teen birthday. Very exciting and fun to watch for the whole family.

I really enjoyed this movie. I heard a lot of hype about it before going to see it and that it was not recommed for children because of one specific scene (I wont spoil the movie), but I thought it was great. There's a lot of room for expansion but it wasn't too long. I have a 12yr old stepson who hates to read. He read these books and was so excited when the movie came out. With this movie, he's figured out that the movies almost never does the book justice. That's gotten him reading other stuff.

I am a big fan of fantasy movies and this one didn't dissapoint. My son loved the movie as well and he's 8, so it's safe to say that this entertains all ages. The characters were original and fun. Not since Jumanji has a children's fantasy been so good.

The ending is unexpected. Wonderful movie except for the cuss word. A lot of people may disagree but I dont wont my children saying that word.
