Interesting new look at the stand from the new this one . verses the older tv show outting. this one is some what better / different. was a good change / think closr to the book!

There are flaws in the latest iteration of Stephen King’s outstanding novel, The Stand, but this 9 hour mini series imminently watchable. Much, much more gory, profane, and over-the-top than the 1994 film of the same name, this movie is true to the book and even includes a “coda” or epilogue to add to the story. It’s impossible for this movie (or the earlier one) to outshine the book, but it’s an enjoyable and way too realistic view of the end of days.

Its so hard to film this epic 1000 page plus novel, but this series did a slightly better job than the original tv mini series. Probably good enough just to catch on a free trial of CBS streaming.

When I heard that CBS was making an updated miniseries of the classic Stephen King novel I was excited but also very nervous. Im happy to report that this 2020 version is absolutely superb! The acting is phenomenal and the direction and cinematography was impressive. A must see!

This updated version of the Stand wasn't bad. It had some good things about it but I'm more partial to the original mini-series because it's the one I grew up with.

Great remake of a great book. Still 8 and 1/2 hours long but worth a watch. Still like the original but this one is still good

I watched the movie when it aired last year and I thought it was a good series. I have the original movie and I wanted to compare them. I’m actually reading the book now.

Excellent representation of Stand. Pretty closely tracks the book. Was worth The time commitment to watch

I have both versions of this & the first one is better & less cussing & is better in ways I can't describe here, I would tell people to watch but know that the 1st one is better

I'm a fan of the Stephen King novels. The Stand is my favorite novel by Stephen King. The movie was done extremely well. Thumbs up!!!

I really wanted to enjoy this series. With that being said, I was truly disappointed. I’ve read the book, several times and there is so much story to these characters. None of that is seen here. And the flashbacks just don’t have enough heart. I did appreciate Alexander Skarsgård as R.F.

An amazing retelling of a Stephen King classic. In my opinion, the original miniseries is hard to beat, but this does one heck of a job.

Awesome remake, even if unnecessary. Without network television, it is allowed to be darker and push to be more like the novel.

I was skeptical about watching this because of all the bad press. Take your own opinion of it. I was very happy with it.

I love the original but I still think they did a great job with the remake and the timing seemed to be perfect.

This Stephen King themed horror flick is another suspense filled thriller as one expects!

Very strong cast in this updated version of a Stephen King Classic. Effects are outstanding.
