    While this was okay, I have to say I liked the original 1994 version much better.

    unless you are watching the series, i bought this in confusion thinking it was a remake of the original movie

    Really, REALLY BAD! Does NOT follow the excellent book, or the quality original TV series. Rambling, gore & sex-loaded, it wanders aimlessly thru the plot-removed remnants of Steven King's original. Acting is wooden at best, ill-directed, and generally miserable. This is the longest 8-hours you'll ever suffer through...
