    If you played the first Surge then you will love this game. Majority of the game is similar to the first with a few added tweaks to the combat system. You can now parry attacks which is a helpful addition. The gameplay, bosses and combat are very similar to the Dark Souls games and Bloodborne. If you are a fan of these games then you will love this game. It is very addicting. I can't put the controller down. I would highly recommend it.

    Better than the first game by a mile. Bosses arent that memorable, but i had a great time playing this sequel.

    The best souls-like franchise out there. If you are a fan of the franchise, dont hesitate to pick this up. The game has a unique take on the formula where you cut of limbs and heads to get weaopns and armor upgrades. The addition of the combat drone also adds some kiting that was missing in the first game. Overall an excellent game and sequel. I look forward to the next game from the develop.

    Everyone is trying to compare this to souls. It’s a similar style for sure but I don’t think they are reviewing it fairly. Fast combat. Cool weapons. Loads of secrets and side paths. Character customization. It’s been great so far if you like a challenge and an interesting game world.

    Futuristic souls like with awesome fast paced and focused combat. The surge 2 vastly improves on the surge 1 and for souls fans this game is yet another great iteration on the genre.

    Great Dark Souls style combat. Definitely a challenege so far. Great atmospheres filled with beautiful looking visuals. Great game so far, really enjoying it.

    If you liked the first one and/or are looking for a futuristic Dark Souls like game from a combat perspective, this game is for you!! Couldn't stop playing during my 25 hour play through!
