The original 2010 bluray restoration was brilliant. This 4k version is better, better flesh tones, less color saturation. The detail and articulation on the Egyptian helmets and outfits, were outstanding in 4k. This movie is a classic filmed in 1956 vista vision.

Wo! What a luscious 4K picture! The cinematography has always been breathtaking and the 4K makes it stunningly wondrous! And the sound is amazing on my 7.2 surround sound speakers. So glad I triple dipped on this wonderful biblical classic.

This was my first time seeing this movie, and really enjoyed it. Classic Hollywood movie and epic. The 4K picture quality looks absolutely gorgeous. For a 65 year old movie, this easily looks like it could have been filmed today.

Saw this movie many years ago. It only gets better every time we watch it.

This is a beautiful render of a great Biblical film into HD, with exceptional detail, color & sound. Of course it is no where near the perfection of Ben Hur 50th Anniversary edition since that film was scanned with an 8k resolution process & 10 Commandments with a 6k restoration almost gives this new release equal standing, but one will notice quickly that the rear projection effects of this 1956 film do not hold up well with obvious overlapping and line separation between subject matter & backgrounds but this was all new territory back in the 50's & is completely excusable. Colors are gorgeous, deep & rich with focus the epitome of perfection, this film was more concerned with the art, than it was about profits, this film could never be made today, since the cost would outweigh the profit margin! Sound Quality is the best it will ever get, since the source material is limited to its Mono source, but the cleanup, separation & tonal quality of this revision are top notch, never sounding better since inception. Absolutely a film with some of it's era's greatest actors, dialog is engaging & scripting intelligently conveyed attempting to keep some type of honest interpretation of Biblical events, while not boring the viewer. I wholeheartedly recommend this Blu-Ray release it is just a beautiful film to behold in HD & is wholesome entertainment for the family.

I remember watching this movie when it first came out and for back then the special affects were great . It's a long movie but well worth it .AS a christian i enjoyed this very much and i think you will to .It took awhile to get it coz it was always on backorder so go out and purchase it i promise you'll enjoy it.

The message is great. Color is beautiful on the whole movie also very clear with all the costumes and scenery. They all did a wonderful job getting the message out about our Father in Heaven and His love and power. I remember seeing this movie when I was a child and always looked forward to seeing it on TV when they showed it during a holiday. Well worth the money and time.

This is an absolute classic. You'll find it on any best movies list you come across. The world could probably use a refresher on the subject matter.

FANTASTIC, timeless classic that is a must for any Video Library; although can’t get the DIGITAL to show up in any of my libraries.

I have the blu ray version of this incredible movie. If you are contemplating getting this 4K version because you think the quality will be exceptionally better than the blu ray, it is not. Why? Because the blu ray quality is already exceptional! I watched this 4K version just recently and, honestly, didn’t notice a lot of quality differential. I remember watching the blu ray version for the first time and said to myself, “Man, this looks like a 4K rendition!” It just goes to show you how well they remastered it when the blu ray version came out. Maybe the sound is a little different, but I didn’t notice much there either. However, if you are the type of person that just wants to have the 4K version of this classic, then get it when its on sale - that’s what I did. Is there some quality upgrade? Yes, but not something that you are going to notice unless your eyes are about 6 inches away from your 4K TV. They took a movie and definitely made it better with 4K, it’s just not the video upgrade you think it will be. Hats off to those who transferred this movie over to blu ray in the first place! I didn’t really notice any popping HDR scenes but, then again, I wasn’t focusing on that and this movie just doesn’t have a ton of those kinds of scenes, except maybe for torch lights.

I enjoy watching this movie. The ABC network is no longer available to me, therefore, I bought this movie to be able to continue watching it.

Got this for my dad since he watches it every year on Easter. It’s a tradition and i couldn’t find it anywhere else. He loves it!

Charlton Heston at his best. Even though they didn't cast one black person about something that might have happened in Egypt. Beautifully shot and directed it is the movie of the times. Add some ninjas and the Ten Commandments would be better than Endgame.

Such a great movie. I had it on VCR and needed to find it on DVD. Thankfully you had it. It is a timeless treasure and it is still amazing that even today the special effects are spectacular. Truly before its time. Another I watch over and over!

It is not Easter until I have watched this movie. Sad part was I could never stay up until the end of this when watched on network tv. Now that I have purchased it I can start watching it at noon and stay awake til the end

Great biblical story of Gods people and there journey to the promise land.

GREAT HD version of a classic! Loved this movie as a child and now share it with my son, who has also come to love it. Looks amazing on a big screen 4K with upscaling. Great transfer!
