I saw this movie many years ago and it is still a great movie even by today's standards. It's an all-star cast based on the captured and fall of Al Capone. Pop some popcorn and sit back; you wont' be disappointed.

Sean Connery at is best not being 007 along with Robert De Niro.. .

Great filmmaking isn't necessarily accurate or true to life and The Untouchables shows that clearly. As a history buff I prefer as much accuracy as possible, even in a fictional retelling of history. For a movie like this I have to remind myself that it is for entertainment purposes only. Here they start with a few real life characters and events and tell a primarily fictional story. Fortunately they get enough period details correct and tell a very engaging story so that I can forget about what actually happened while I'm watching the film.

This is one of the best fims of the 80's and possibly all time. Directed by Brian De Palma, this fantastic movie is simply about the effects of the crime boss Al Capone, which had a huge impact on life in and around Chicago. Elliot Ness does what he can to stop Capone whether it is through a raid or another confrontation. Thrilling performances by Kevin Costner, Sean Connery, and Robert De Niro.

If you haven’t see this movie, you must watch this movie at home. Kevin is one favorite actors, but on these movie he gets you to the real story what it happens back on the early 20’s.

A film with Kevin Costner and Sean Connery that is fantastic. Throw in a young Andy Garcia and Robert Deniro and you have the makings of a classic. Deniro does a great Al Capone!

Well what can I say about this flick? KILLER!! This definitely set a standard for gangster movies!! Awesome cast and great story!

This is a myst have for any film buff. Kevin Costner, Sean Connery, and other legit actors make this a classic

Lets admit the horrible truth: Kevin Costner is incapable of acting. A pine two-by-four has more charisma than Costner, who plays a wooden and cloddish Elliot Ness. This movie is saved by excellent direction, Robert De Niro, and the actor who plays arch bad guy, Nitty. Sean Connery does a great tough Irish cop, too. The bad guys simply ooze evil and delicious complexity from every pore, while the "good guy" Costner simply takes up space as the "hero." For movie history buffs, there is a brilliant tip of the hat to the Battleship Potemkin. An excellent movie all around, although there is a ridiculous scene where the heroes are riding horses in an incredulous and patently stupid "shoot 'em up." The true story of Elliot Ness and the Untouchables is probably a lot more interesting, and it is doubtful he ever rode a horse in the Canadian /USA wilderness in search of bootleggers. .

Great throw back movie. Definitely a go to. Action packed. Great story line and amazing cast.

this is a good film for people that have an interest in Americas less than squeaky clean history
