This is one my favorites shows ever, I can't believed how this is from the beginning through the end. If you really want to know all the details you must buy it. What you spend worth the money. Excellent show.

I have heard for years that The Wire was the best TV show ever. After watching it I have to agree that it is one of the best shows ever. And the picture and sound on Blu-ray is superb. I have recommended it to all of my friends.

I can't really say anything more about The Wire that hasn't already been said, except that its finally on Blu-Ray! Amazing series that any TV lover should watch. Great acting, writing, character development, pretty much everything is great.

I waited for this series to go on sale and when it did, I couldn't wait to get it home! It seems like this series gets overshadowed by The Sopranos as they were both on HBO at the same time. This is a wonderful, binge worthy series.

This is the greatest TV show ever made. The blu-ray's are so much better than the DVD's that had the stupid bars on the side. Highly recommend buying this since you can re-watch over and over. Plus HBO gives both iTunes and Ultraviolet.

This was on sale for $59.99. Great deal for this show. I recently had the dvd release and finally upgraded. If you haven’t seen this show, I highly recommended it.

Already watched this years ago when HBO first released it. When the blu-ray complete box set came out, I knew I had to own it for all times. It's so good. Definitely worth watching over again!

Although a very graphic depiction of Baltimore's intertwined political and criminal elements, this is a very realistic series that could mirror many other urban areas across the United States. A great series!

My boyfriend has been dying to see this show so we finally picked it up for a great price and since then we have been happy with our purchase. It's really one of the greatest shows on TV. I highly recommend this show.

So far the first season had me riveted to the edge of my seat. Would the cops or drug dealers have the edge, would innocent people get hurt? Very enjoyable crime / good guy battle - if you can tolerate the language.

Finally!!! One of if not the best crime drama I've seen. Summer well spent on this 5 season cop drama. Rich characters and cast. Addicting storyline and show. The only bad thing is knowing thers no season 6. Bummer

The not as well known "The Wire" is a fantastic show. Each episode is well written and superbly acted. A very well thought out series for people who truly enjoy quality. The Blu-Ray is great.

Greatest series I have ever watched. Covers a range of topics that somehow are still relevant today. Gritty and honest take on society.

Great show and great video and audio quality presented in this Blu-ray. The only controversial issue is the use of Widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio instead of 4:3 aspect ratio. But I personally am fine with this.

This is one of the best TV show ever. I miss when HBO made this great original, well acted dramas. The characters are unforgettable. If you haven't seen this show this is a great chance to sit and enjoy.

I had heard about the Wire for years and binge watched a few years ago. I wanted the Blu-ray set and am now watching it again. It is just as enjoyable the second time through.

This is one of the best series I have watched. Characters are vividly portrayed and the dialogue and action immerses you into the story. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys crime oriented drama
