This is almost real life. All the in fighting and back stabbing of a police department at work. How they set up the wire and get it running is spot on. Great cast. Omar is coming!!! A+++

This series is great. Each season has a different focus and setting but still relate to a few main characters. Super suspenseful! Similar tof Breaking Bad and feeling for the "bad" guys

No letterboxing, no annoying DVD compression. Full HD and glorious. If you're film geek who needs to introduce a friend to this classic show, this is the only way to do it.

'The Wire' is hands down the best TV show about crime, justice, morality, and the failed war on drugs. It truly transcends the medium to be one of the absolute best stories ever filmed.

This is a fantastic series. Had already seen the original showings on HBO but am looking forward to watching again. I expect the Blu-ray format will be awesome. Recommended.

The Wire is about drug in Baltimore. It is a little slow from the beginning but it gets better and better. Terrific TV series is all I can say. You must own it.
