Well made movie with excellent cinematography and acting. 4k picture is also a solid upgrade from the already great bluray.

This film builds a constant feeling of evil that is lurking and waiting around the corner. Interesting take on the witch genre.

If you haven’t seen this Puritan nightmare, you should. A must see for fans of suspenseful, methodical tales of horror.

I was expecting a blood-soaked horror flick and was pleasantly surprised. Not a lot of suspenseful "terror" but certainly gets you thinking on how hard life must have been back then. Definitely liked the setting/costumes and dialogue/accents were awesome (nothing ruins a "period piece" more - for me at least - than present day language). I really liked that you never really saw anything, much as with the original Blair Witch Project. I would highly recommend with surround sound in the dark!

I’m this day and age a good horror movie is hard to come by, but The Witch is definitely one of the good ones.

I love this film and am so excited that it has a 4K upgrade. This was an instant favorite after I saw it theater.

Awesome movie that shows the degradation of a family bond after one is suspected of being a witch by others.

I was a big fan of this movie. I hadn't seen it in the theater, but had read several professional reviews and had a friend or two that had recommended it. Beyond that though, walking into the movie I didn't know too much beyond the general concept. Overall it is a very old-school horror movie which builds to a pretty good crescendo. Where it might not be for everyone is it is pretty slow in pace. For me that builds tension when dealing with such fleshed out characters, but for some, they simply found it a little boring.

Super great price. Super scary movie. Good addition to any DVD collection. Definitely recommend purchasing this one.

Horror and historical accuracy at its finest, this movie gives chills and will leave you feeling uneasy

This was a good movie, not great but good, it was really hard to understand the family when they talked at times due to their heavy accents. I had to turn up the volume so high i thought it was going to blow out my speakers. It was quite during the talking and extremely loud during the intense moments or when the music cut in. Though the movie was really intense and creepy, during an era were witchcraft played a big role, the family tries to hold on to their faith and their sanity when things start to go wrong

There are no fake jump scares here. This film is the very definition of what a true horror film should be.

My husband and I really love this movie. It takes a few re-watches to catch everything, but its awesome!

An already beautifully shot film, looks even better in 4K. A treat for the eyes and a truly scary film.

Added this horror movie to my mounting collection of movies. The Witch is one of the best films of 2016, and is easily one of the creepiest horror movies in recent memory. The Witch is a film that will most definitely be included on many top horror lists to come. This is an incredibly well made film that doesn't rely on jump scares to deliver. If you like this kind of genre it's worth buying for the collection, I love the unknown and off the wall horror movies, they don't scare me!

Heard about movie from a friend, expected a bit more as it was labeled one of the best horror films. It is more of a thriller than horror.

Extremely atmospheric and dark with a horrific and atmospheric tone.Very effective and well made.

This is a great horror film looks good in 4k not for everyone it’s a slow burn but it’s worth it
