Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the engaging gameplay loop, compelling storyline, and amazing music in "The World Ends with You: Final Remix." Many appreciate the addition of bonus content and the option to play using the touch screen, although some find the control scheme challenging, particularly when using the Joy-Cons. A few customers expressed concerns about the game's price point. The quality of the port was also a subject of mixed opinions.

    A really fun game.

To start with make sure you know that it uses motion controls or touch screen. I used the touch screen and after a bit of a learning curve you can really get into a rhythm of battle. The story is really interesting to go through and would definitely recommend picking it up if your on the fence.

Loved this game on the DS and now the Switch. Really enjoyed playing this game with the Switch's touch screen. Didn't feel as smooth as I would like when playing on the TV with the joycon, but I prefer it off the dock anyway. Unique and pretty game.

The port is fantastic, but Square chose to lazily port the mobile version of the game. You cannot use the joycons in handheld mode which is very disappointing. Other than this misstep, I am thoroughly enjoying the game.

    Amazing game; Terrible controls

I got this hoping to be able to play it on my TV. The game itself is amazing and I recommend it for DS and potentially IOS. However this is practically impossible to play on your switch docked. The controls are unbelievably irresponsive and frustrating to deal with while docked. The best way to play this is handheld which is unfortunate because it looks good on the bigger screen. If you usually play handheld or have a switch lite, then I recommend it. But if you are expecting to only play this on the TV and have a really good time then I would maybe look at a video displaying the docked controls before making a decision.

The controls aren't so great when playing docked, however. The motion controls don't work well because the cursor constantly desyncs. Hopefully they'll fix it in a patch because the rest of the game is great.

The controls are...just okay for this game. I like the artstyle and voice acting but definitely took some getting used to. Recommend but on sale only.

Can't say much but if you played Double Dragon it's sorta like that so if you get chance test it out to see if it matches what you like. But I think because this came from the 3DS series if you played it then you will know how to play it on the Switch.

This game is one of the greatest games of the previous handheld generation, (Nintendo DS), ported to switch. The problem is the controls; without the stylus this game is difficult, but not a good way.

This is basically a port of the mobile version of this game. I would recommend the DS version over this one if you have a Nintendo DS and don't like being forced to use motion controls in docked mode.

I originally played this on the Nintendo DS many many years ago and was happy to pick up this port on the Switch. While it only has one screen this version is still perfectly playable and it looks sharper and better than ever

I love the fact that this game came out for the switch. I loved playing it on the DS and I was thrilled it came out for the switch. The controls take a bit of time to get used to but you’ll get the hang of it and have as much fun as you did playing the game the first time.

It’s a fun game but the controls are kind of wonky. It would be better if the controller controls were more fluid instead of having to rely on the touch screen.

Use the touch controls and only play it on TV for cutscenes or to listen to the music tracks. The game is worth cheaper at best. The story for this game is the highlight.

This video game is remake of the Nintendo 3DS video game. Nintendo Switch version is far more superior than the Nintendo 3DS version as this game has enhance sound and quality of the game. Bonus points for playing this game on the TV.

The World Ends with you was originally one of the best games released on the Nintendo DS. This updated port includes new content and a new control scheme. Once you adjust to the new controls you won’t be able to put this game down.

I've really enjoyed playing this remix version on the Switch. Really fun, eye-catching graphics, fun soundtrack and interesting gameplay and story. The best way to play this new version is co-op hands down. It really is a lot of fun!

I couldn't get into the DS version because of the dual screens, so I was excited to play this version. I'd highly recommend this game, just not the motion controls.
