Product listed on the web sight as the older packaging, which was what I intended to purchase. The newer packaged disk set arrived in a decent amount of time. Shippment Packaging was good no problems with damage to the set of discs. Over all other than misleading information on the sight about the set I purchased, service was fair....

X-files is a really entertaining sci-fi drama, with conspiracies, aliens, government coverups, monsters, phenomena, a nice gamut of material. The characters are both likeable with their own sets of flaws that put them on opposite sides of the argument most times. For me this entire series is a must own. Buy the seasons separately and you will save $90 to $120 vs the price of the box set, which is completely identical except is has a box.

Many viewers name season 4 as the high point of "The X-Files." Still moody and atmospheric thanks to the Canadian settings, the drama engages in almost every episode. The widescreen formatting looks very natural and lends feature film scope to the show. There are really no negatives to this purchase, especially at the very reasonable price.

The new X-Files Blu-Ray releases are must-have for fans of the show, both for the low price of each set and for the newly-remastered in HD video quality that makes for superior viewing when compared to the original DVD sets. All bonus features from the DVDs carry over, and the packaging is much more compact than those bulky old DVD boxes.

Picked up the individual seasons on sale at Best Buy. Being an owner of the DVD version of the series, it's AMAZING the transfer to Blu Ray. Almost felt new watching the series again in the format. If you grew up loving the X-Files, pick up the Blu Ray versions of the season...definitely worth the money!

This season is one of the best seasons out of the bunch. I say that and have enjoyed every season from beginning to end but this season is awesome. Now that I've said all that, the blu ray video quality and audio quality are great. It's about time that X Files gets the upgrade that it has deserved for years.

I have not seen these. I am on the second season but I am hooked. I never saw them on TV and am very grateful to the producers for having the vision of filming them in widescreen. they look wonderful for a 23 year old TV show! Buying them individually actually saves you money. The truth is out there!

Wow, I have been an X-Files fan since Day 1!.... THIS!! This is how it should have been shown, the picture quality is superb!.. the sound, on point!... it really looks like this series was shot today!!

If you are a fan of 'The X-Files', this is a great investment to make! Season 4 is, in my opinion, one of the best seasons they made, and the picture quality on these discs is superb. There's also additional bonus features that aren't on the DVDs (I have those, too). Totally worth the buy!

Another consistently great season from the X-Files. The Blu-ray transfer bring the series to life in a way that the DVD couldn't. Fans have been waiting a long time for this series to hit Blu-ray.

The relationship (and trust) between Mulder and Scully increases in season 4 of The X-Files. "Mythology" episodes dominate the season, but there are plenty of great other installments to the series. Cigarette Man and Skinner are featured frequently.

The GOAT of TV series in my opinion. Sure, like most things it tailed off in the end but that does not take away from the greatness of the first several seasons (this one included). Definite upgrade over the DVDs.

I was like a kid on Christmas waiting for my all time favorite show The X-Files to show up on blu ray. The video and sound quality as well as the cover art design all blew me away!! This is long awaited and did not disappoint!!!

One of the best seasons of the X-Files, Season 4 contains plenty of classic episodes (of course, it also contains clunkers like "The Field Where I Died," but still). Highly recommended for long-time fans and newcomers alike.

Mythology episodes are tight & stand-alone episodes are truly compelling -- with two in particular -- "Home" and "The Field Where I Died" being cinematic in scope. Blu-Ray does this season justice for sure.

Every episode when it ends leaves you wanting more. In each case You are part of the drama and action, trying to help solve every mistery and finds You screaming at the TV Screen, great for all.

So happy to finally get the X-files series on Blu-ray! This is a must have for anybody that loved the series and released just in time to re-watch the old episodes before the new series starts.

Great price and far less expensive compared to the DVD Season sets. No original fonts used for the place titles but it has all the bonus features from the DVD Season and Mythology sets.

One of the best seasons of X-Files. Even includes the episode that Fox only aired once, in Home. Fox Mulder at his best.
