Disappointing Terry Gilliam effort.

Ideas and story don't come together and visuals are lost in an only partially realized film. However, Christoph Waltz remains an always watchable character.

It was OK. Not sure I would purchase it again, but would likely rent it instead.

A little to fictional for my taste. Hard to follow the story line.

I wanted to like this, but was left...well, wanting. The film was visuaallyappealing and I appreciated the sense of "future" created. Unfortunatey, there was no understandable plot. It was just disjointed and so difficult to follow it ruined the viewing experience.

I like scifi but this movie is terrible! The acting is poor, the plot is very weak, just plain boring. The movie was so bad I just threw it away. I didn't want to embarrass myself by giving to some one else

Classic Terry Gilliam

I'd not heard overly kind things about "The Zero Theorem" when it first came out, and it seemed to disappear almost as fast as it arrived. But after purchasing the Blu-ray and watching it at home, I can proudly affirm yet again that I tend not to always go by what I hear. As a longtime Terry Gilliam fan, I would not be swayed; I WOULD see it for myself! And I'm so glad I did. It's classic, quirky Terry Gilliam very much in the spirit of "Brazil" -- a dystopian future society with an oppressed individual against the system. The art direction is simply astounding, as is the engrossing performance of Christoph Waltz, one of the greatest living actors today. I loved it.

This is one of those heady type movies but it kept my interest.
