Ugh, this movie is seriously insane. Wish we had a 4K release but this will CERTAINLY do in the meantime.

There Will Be Blood is an absolute masterpiece and one of the greatest films ever made. Daniel Day-Lewis delivers a powerhouse performance that reminds me why he’s considered one of the best actors of all time. His portrayal of Daniel Plainview is intense, unforgettable, and a masterclass in acting. The film’s direction, cinematography, and haunting score all come together to create a truly unique cinematic experience. Watching it on Blu-ray still looks great, but I really wish this had a 4K release to match the visual and artistic quality of the film. This is a movie that deserves the highest possible presentation. I miss seeing Daniel Day-Lewis in new roles—he left behind a legacy that’s nearly unmatched. If you love powerful drama and exceptional filmmaking, this belongs in your collection.

Daniel Day-Lewis delivers an encredible role in an amazing movie. It’s the story of Daniel Plainview an Oil Tycoon. Artistically, this film succeeds. Daniel Day-Lewis is practically a force of nature loosed in a vivid story of greed and animosity. Through him, we see down to the depths of the oilman's inky soul. And we both identify with and recoil from what we see there. But like its main character, There Will Be Blood pays a heavy price for its success. It proffers to its viewers a bottomless pit full of desperate questions and only a handful of dark, jagged answers at the bottom of a parched and bitter tale—textured, powerful and ... sad.

I've watched this movie many times and it's still an amazing watch. One of the best performances in a film hands down.

It’s a great film and has an astonishing performance by Daniel Day Lewis. Great direction by Paul Thomas Anderson.The film case itself could’ve been better without its wrinkles and old sticker on the back. Nonetheless still a great film.

If you just want the movie, with no features, this is your best bet. It does not have a standard case so it breaks a little easier. That being said, for the price, it's awesome. If you're wondering about the movie, it is not for everyone. But for some people, it's one of the greatest masterpieces of all cinema history. I am the latter. Paul Thomas Anderson takes you into a different time and presents an honest portrait of a man just trying to live the American dream: $$$$. It's based on the book "Oil!" by Upton Sinclair and takes you through the turbulent rise of an "Oil Man". If you are a happy-go-lucky, dreams come true kind of person, this film is NOT for you. If you want life delivered through art with no filter... this film is for you. Enjoy.

I love P.T.Anderson. Well, at least up through this epic. Not as messy as Magnolia & with none of Punch Drunk Love's charm, this ode to American darkness & the foul side of "free-market" pioneering is truly a spectacle. The photography is gorgeous & combined with the score often reminds the viewer of 2001. Though this unraveling tale is never concise & never feels like its settled, it remains a glorious tribute to cinema & the "good old" United States...

I love this movie. Daniel Day Lewis is a powerhouse and deserved all the awards for this performance. Paul Dano was nothing to sneeze at either and held his own against the best actor in the business. The opening sequence is amazing and the direction throughout and superb. Glad I got the Blu Ray for a new appreciation of the picture and cinematography.

This movie, while slow in pace, is amazing in its quality and content. Very minimalist in its execution but the story is compelling and eventful. You can't check out for a film like this, definitely something that keeps you engaged. Definitely recommend.

PTA's best film. Classic. Love it. Sound is great too. Would love a 4k blu ray version of this, but the blu-ray looks good.

This harrowing tale will make you appreciate the fact that you weren't raised by a curmudgeonly oil baron. PTA knocks another one out of the park by creating an awesomely depressing atmosphere to spend an afternoon in. Have your milkshakes ready.

To me, this is writer/director Paul Thomas Anderson's masterpiece. Everything about this film is perfect, especially the cinematography and Daniel Day-Lewis's performance. It's a must see for any film fanatic and one of the greatest films of the last 10 years!

Daniel Day Lewis , arguably the best actor talent today. Immersion into his character is limitless. His skill to play new strong , gritty characters is mesmerizing. Oscar winning performance. You will be exhausted by the end. Classic movie.

Firstly, the film itself is fantastic. Daniel day Lewis gives one of the best performances of all time. Although the film is paced slow at times you really get a feel for the period. Haven't looked at the extras on the disc but the film looks great in 1080p.

As an aspiring director, There Will Be Blood was one of the films that showed me the true power of film making as a means to tell a story and showcase the psyche of characters. It's kind of a slow build, but every second is worth it.

I'm a professional movie watcher. I had this on dvd for years, recently decided to upgrade to blu ray. It was well worth it. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up . It is so choice.
