Terrible dishwasher

Also takes forever to finish. Also, when pressing buttons it’s sometimes not responsive and we have to power cycle it. Miss my kitchenaide. Terrible.

We purchased it on May 7 and the most recent date it will be available is August 19! I have asked them to schedule installation on August 20. So far, It has not washed any dishes!

Simply put, it doesn’t clean the dishes. - plastic items definitely don’t get cleaned and food particles are left on the items - glass items similar to plastic regularly have food still left on them - cups, plastic and glass, never look clean and definitely expect spots and cloudiness - even with heated dry, which seems USELESS, the dishes are soaking wet. So this makes for a job I have to do that never once had to do with prior dishwashers like GE and Kitchen Aid - I find the lower rack configuration awkward to load dishes. - the buttons aren’t lit so it takes a while to figure out the sequence - the most baffling design decision by far is the Delay Feature by minute!!! Not a big deal if it worked fast but it can take a few to simply set your delay to run in the middle of the nite by a few hours. The minute by minute function delay can take 30 seconds to program. So ridiculous. - the beeps make no sense at all and as a result have regularly set the dishwasher thinking it was set to run and didn’t. - and related to the above, when the washer is done running it seems to beep incessantly! So annoying. I regularly add rinse aid and use Cascade Platinum. Very disappointed in this hunk of expensive junk.

However, their effort to save something? in manufacturing means a heating element which doesn't dry dishes. Even when I leave the door open for hours there is water on the top of everything. That I adjust to but the electronic settings are un responsive because they are too complicated for my brain. The door is scary because it is so top heavy holding all that difficult electronic. Every appliance with an electronic keyboard is a nightmare to use. And, I wouldn't advise moderns who wish to run their home appliance away from home on a mobile phone to trust that flooding is avoidable with no one home. My previous did that.
