Delivery took around 4.5 months but it was definitely worth the wait. Bought this to replace a Viking and in my opinion this one is built much better and has so much more space than my previous one. And the finishing touch is the cool ice cubes it makes. Best Buy’s delivery and installation of the refrigerator went flawlessly.

Thermador Free Standing Fridge is a Dream.

Super quiet, waters works great and my food doesn’t spoil, and with plenty of space despite it being only 20 Cu Ft. The metal and finish on the door feels like high quality and no smudges. This is in comparison to the Viking free standing, which I had, that was 22 Cu Ft but felt less space, noisier and made my food spoil faster. I would highly recommend the Thermador free standing fridge.

Makes lots of ice. Lighting illuminates so nothing is hidden. Shelves are adjustable beyond what the competition offers. Plus it looks great.

I love the straight edges and clean lines on the outside doors. The water supply is on the inside which is a plus, provided you line up your glass properly - I would have like a slightly bigger cut out here, but that's no doubt due to the fact that I "never use" these dispensers and therefore am unfamiliar with them. I love the wall of lights in the rear of the unit as they brighten up the inside much better than a single bulb. Having wi-fi capabilities that will remind me of filter change needs is great.

Wish they made easier to use water dispenser with single hand. You have to use both hands to ensure water does not spill

Wish there were more freezer storage capacity.

The bottom drawer, however, is warped, sticks, and feels like it will soon break every time we open it. Repair sent us a new one but it does the same thing. We are told it is a design flaw and can’t be fixed. All the display models also have this problem.

Poor door design

The doors are flimsy and poorly designed so the right door never closes all the way. The open door alarm goes off 2-3 X a day. I thought we would learn to push harder but still a problem. The doors weigh nothing. Inside drawers are flimsy too they bow when opening.
