The I first install team did not checked all of the burners. The second team brought a new range top and they did check all the burners and they all worked.

I love having gas again (we had an electric cooktop in our last house). This cooktop heats well and like having the flexibility of having 5 burners in a 30" cooktop. Cooking with this is great, but two problems. 1) Cleaning is a real pain. It's very difficult to keep clean. 2) The way Thermador does the extra low on 2 of the burners is by turning the burner on and off. The clicking on/off is annoying. Also, the larger one is somewhat finicky and sometimes difficult to find just the right setting. I won't get rid of it, but probably wouldn't buy this model again.

The flat grate make one big hot pad when we take things out of the oven and the big burner in the middle is wonderful! It looks terrific and is fairly easy to clean (better than our last one anyway).
