I love this stove. I gave it three stars because it did have some issues: 1) the oven isn't calibrated, and is almost 40 degrees off, and 2) the meat thermometer is off as well, I would say as much as 20 degrees.
Thermador, however, does offer a 2-year warranty, so you can call and they'll send someone to fix it.

I love the cooktop - the star burners are great. I really dislike the oven. It takes over 30 minutes to heat up to 400 degrees - that is not acceptable! And if we have high oven heat on, it automatically shuts off at a certain point and we have to totally reset the oven. And then the fan runs for a long time after the oven is turned off and it is loud. I don't think I would recommend this.

Long-term review: significant repair required

I’m very disappointed in this product, a product Thermador describes as a “professional” range. We remodeled our kitchen and have used this since December 2022. Until now we have enjoyed it. Recently, however, the oven started turning off after preheating and slowly cools down. Sometimes we can turn it off then back on to get it to restart, but at times it takes 2-3 restarts before it turns back on. And because it takes time to see the temp change, we are forced to wait and watch the temp closely to figure out if it is heating again, or if we need to restart it again. Of course the charge for a service person to come out will cost ~$150 plus a significant hourly charge for the repair. So we are facing a several hundred dollar repair for an oven that is less than three years old (but of course just most the two year warranty). This is not a product that gets moved around and therefore could have been damages by us. This feels like planned obsolescence. And the connectivity feature, which I had assumed would allow Thermador to so some remove diagnostics in order to avoid that trip charge, has proven worthless. When I called, they said that functionality is not available so a service call is needed. Finally, I agree with other comments that preheat time is slow: 20-25 minutes. Very, very disappointed.

This product has been a disaster since the first day. Major oven issues. Rarely reaches temp and if it does, it doesn't hold. Motherboard changed on one occasion and the oven ignitor changed on the next. Currently still having issues. Best Buy warranty services beyond horrible and unhelpful. Called for support and dealing with incompetent customer service reps doesn't help the situation.

Broke down after 4 years

Display panel stopped working after about 4 years, meaning that the oven (and several of the burners, for some reason) could not be used. Replacement of the panel cost close to as much as a new (non-Thermador) oven. Would recommend staying away from Thermador; have now had bad experiences with similarly aged oven, fridge and dishwasher, and bad experiences with customer service each time.

NEVER AGAIN THERMADOR

The WORST experience ever. Had to have a repair person twice in the first year (range) and again a year later (hood). Now, in the 3rd year, I again have an oven (code 43) not heating up and was told it would be a MONTH to have someone come out. After being given 4 alternative repair companies, 2 of them were the same phone #, one was out of the area, and one did come but didn't order my part. After cslling back, they said I didn't APPROVE the order. No one asked for any approval! I was told by the repair company out of the area they get calls from people all over the country.

I hate this range! I have had this for three years and it has been incredibly unreliable. The computer keeps crapping out. It was replaced once already, but is still a problem. Now, although the burners work, the oven doesn’t. Save yourself a lot of money and aggravation and buy a Samsung or LG. I am going to replace this thing, even though it’s only three years old, with something that costs about half the price but is a lot more reliable. I hate it and will NEVER consider another Thermador product.

Looks great but make sure you have a computer engineer in hand to set up the wifi. It’s ridiculous and can’t use the oven until you link to their home connect app. For $7,000 + it’s absurd. Look at other options.
